บท 71: "A KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOUR"
It was evening when I was enjoying my coffee in the cafe and didn't notice the time. I leisurely drank my coffee and went to pay the bill but I was taken aback because I didn't have my wallet which further meant I don't have the keys to my house.
I was thinking hard to pass this situation and then I saw Damon's assistant coming towards me and this is when I wished to be invisible. I don't want him to witness my embarrassing situation and I don't want to be a laughing stock for his boss. So I pretended to look the other side as to hide but, he came directly to me and bowed "Good evening madam" and I was looking at him shocked but managed to nod lightly. He ordered the cashier "This is the young madam, never ask for money from her and take special care for her".
I must say Damon's subordinates have also the same aura and rudeness as he gives them private lectures to follow his every move and manner. Tsk! he should be awarded as the title "Mr. rude all over in the world". Well, I should leave now because I don't want to meet him anymore so, I waited for Mr. assistant to leave the cafe and just as he came he left.
I got out of the cafe and it was already dark outside, I was thinking where should I go and that's when I remember my friend whom I first met in this country and a small smile appeared on my lips but it faded very soon. I took out my phone and saw it was switched off, which means it's dead and now I am stuck.
I am not the type of person who losses easily so I kept walking on the road wherever this road was taking me. After walking for about an hour, I noticed I have reached quite far from the city, and when I looked around carefully, I noticed I am in the middle of nowhere and that's when fear crept through all over my body.
I glanced at the sides of the road that's when it hit me "This road is accompanied by forest, and as far as I can see there is the sign of no human being". I was horrified, I could imagine all sorts of mishappenings that can take place here. I regret now getting angry is one thing but taking decisions in anger is the worst thing. "Please god, buddha anyone who can hear me, save me".
I turned back and started walking in the direction from where I had come. After walking for some distance I heard a voice that hailed my steps and I had to turn to see who is there who knows this body owner.
"Caroline" I heard this voice sharp and clear.
I turned to face the owner of this voice and I was shocked to see him standing there in the middle of nowhere. On this broad black road standing like he owned this road, under the moon his whole being was glowing, he was standing like a majestic king and his hands were in his pocket as he was walking slowly towards me.
