Ying Bao happily ran around the garden of the Jing family house with a kite. Xu Xiyan sat down beside her grandfather, Jing Huaduo, and poured the old man a cup of tea.

"Have some tea, Grandfather."

"How're things? Is the shoot going well?"

Jing Huaduo did not press her or ask any more questions. He had seen the news that she and a man named Ma Haodong had been involved in a scandal, but he would not interfere with his granddaughter's affairs.

As long as she did not get involved with the Huo family, he would allow her to see any man she wished.
