For the next few minutes, Giselle shared every single detail that had happened previously. Starting from her confession filmed by Ivy, the blackmail, bullying, Mike's entry, the incident outside at the Ice cream parlor, and finally, Mike and Bridgette's plan to lure Giselle alone where Mike had his ways to assault the girl sexually.
The entire time Lillian kept a stoic face while listening to Giselle quietly. However, as the details came out to the light one by one, Lillian's fury waves hit all her nerves. Her jaw clenched, and she barely blinked. Her stiff neck exposed her visible cords.
Lillian Grey was exploding in flames inside while maintaining stable eye contact with Giselle. She didn't want to scare the girl who's pouring out all of the truth.
It all made sense for Lillian Grey and to her doubts.
Everything she hid until now, revealed today. Lillian Grey also noticed how sadly Giselle stammered while she talked. The girl's body trembled as Lillian gently took Giselle's hands and held it to comfort her.
Poor Giselle sweated all while revealing the truth and she almost got choked herself when she talked about Mike assaulting her in the Music room. Lillian's grip tightened when she heard it.
Even though she doesn't have any romantic feelings for Giselle and also, rejected her confession, Lillian only wished the girl for good things. She exploded in rage and felt like beating the hell out of Mike, the next time she meets him.
When Giselle finished, she looked as if she got flooded from her sweat. She only realized it after the end.
'How dejected she would have felt through all of this?'
One can only imagine the pain Giselle went through all these days. She looked over at Lillian's face, still holding her gaze firmly.
...
"I came out to see Bridgette waiting outside. She said some words that I couldn't accept. So, I slapped her for planning to let Mike harass me and for all the stuff she did to me."
"I slapped her Lillian, and that's why she couldn't handle the insult and went on to reveal everything to the whole school."
"I did all they asked, only to protect my secret, I didn't want it to bother you- I- did- everything- they said like even throwing trash on some other girl. They used me to their amusement."
Giselle's words deep and filled with anguish.
"All of it for them to stay silent, it doesn't matter if they insult me, but I couldn't keep up anymore."
"I knew Mike had feelings for me. I rejected him, but still, he went on to do all that. It was all Bridgette's doing. She couldn't see me being at peace. She wanted to make me feel like trash, and that's why she went far to expose all the information."
"How am I going to go out now, Lillian?"
"How will I face people from now on?"
"My life is gone. I don't want to be here anymore."
"I want to run away from all this."
"I can't keep getting bullied for who I am?"
Giselle kept pouring out her emotions to Lillian Grey while Lillian silently listened to her.
...
"She framed me as a stalker."
"It's alright. I'm used to this kind of treatment."
"I have always been treated like this."
"But-"
"But, you-"
"I don't care if people see me as a lesbian, but I dragged you into this mess."
"I don't know what to do anymore."
Giselle's tears kept flowing. Even when she tried to wipe them off and shut it in, it just didn't stop. The image of her trying to halt her tears while speaking, it destroyed Lillian.
At that moment, Lillian Grey felt like taking away this girl out of her misery and give her all the happiness she could get from this world. Giselle doesn't deserve all this.
Lillian might not be friends with her, but she had noticed her in the past. The silent girl, who attend the school without getting in between anyone, she never acted nosily or gave trouble to teachers. She did her job and studied. That doesn't mean Giselle never had friends. She had a few with whom she would spend time. However, Lillian had never seen a Giselle being close friends with any other girl or a boy. She's the typical girl who only took care of her business, but also behaved soft with others without hurting their feelings.
When Giselle confessed, Lillian almost felt how this happened?
Or, never had she gave out the impression of someone romantic!
It's appeared like a mystery to Lillian. Regardless, she felt grateful for getting admired by such a sweet girl.
'How can such a gentle person be hurt like this?'
Lillian stared at the girl.
"Alright now."
Lillian shushed her. Giselle dazed.
"Let me help you from now on."
"Okay?"
Lillian's heartfelt words surprised Giselle. Whether if it meant for now or for the whole incident, Giselle's pain slowly faded away. Her tears slowed down, eventually disappearing.
"Look, you've exerted a lot."
"Wash your face for now," Lillian appealed.
Giselle sulked.
"Come on now."
"I said I am helping you, right?"
Lillian loosened her grip and helped Giselle to stand up. The injured areas began instigating intense pain as her legs yelped from standing steadily on the ground. Lillian caught her and escorted the girl towards the sink to help wash her face. Lillian held her hair up, while the girl cleaned herself.
Just then, someone bashed into the lavatory.
"I bought clothes as you said."
