"We had a disappointing conversation," Xu Baohan frown slightly.

An Lan nodded in understanding and didn't pursue it further. He would say it if he wanted to. She wasn't the type of woman who would interrogate persistently. Everyone should have their own privacy.

"That Ms Song seemed to look at me strangely," An Lan suddenly smiled and said jokingly, "She didn't have a crush on you when she was young, did she?"

"How could it be possible?" Xu Baohan's lips twitched. "She was a tomboy when she was still schooling. If it wasn't for Mr Song, I wouldn't have known her pretty well."

"Why?"

"I didn't have a lot of friends during that time," Xu Baohan answered honestly. "My coursemates in university were quite boring. They liked to hang out and their conversation topics were either about girls or where they planned to go to have some fun. It was quite boring listening to it frequently."
