Seeing Doan's actions, Taf then did the unthinkable stooping down grasping the blade within his hand. This was judged as truly senseless by the masses. By touching the dagger Doan's case became facilitated with his fingerprints all over the weapon.

Obvious Doan knew he had all within the grounds scared silly. Hence, no one would dare to bear witness against the act.

Still, if Taf had made an argument that the weapon was not his, there would be grounds for an investigation.

After the conclusion of the investigation, adequate proof could possibly have been gathered that his fingerprints were never on the weapon, and he was framed.

With his actions, he simply made a more consequential case for Doan. Some of the more experienced disciples could only shake their heads lamenting his decision making.

Sometimes youth can be their biggest undoing. This child though blessed with talent was quite rash and ignorant.
