บท 164: You have always protected me

Jane looked up when she heard her. Turning to Mo Shaoyun with tears running down her face, she asked him sadly,

"Shaoyun, is that why? Is that the reason why you are with the woman? Because I have an abortion?"

Mo Shaoyun did not say anything. He was unable to say anything anymore.

He managed to convince his parents that Jane was naive and she made a mistake by sending naked selfies to her ex-boyfriend.

However, with regards to the abortion, no matter how he tried, he was unable to convince them to look the other way.

Mr and Mrs Mo lost a child to miscarriage before. For a long time, they kept blaming themselves for the loss.

When they found out that Jane had an abortion, they were furious.

The child that they wanted for so long was gone through no fault of their own, and yet, their son's girlfriend terminated a life that was gifted to her.

To them, it was a slap to their face.
