Yang Nina woke up after who knows how long. Her eyes slowly peeled open and surveyed her surroundings. It didn't look like she was unconscious long enough, judging by the dark sky above her. Either that, or it's been the next day.
But why is she outside? Did they think she died and was promptly disposed of? That doesn't make sense though. She clearly remembers being together with her seniors.
Oh, no! Was it all a trap after all?! Were her seniors...killed? While she was taken out like trash in some random place?
"You're awake. Good."
Someone spoke beside her. The voice was baritone with a cool and guarded tone. It wasn't unpleasant to hear, per se, but it gave her an impression of a disciplinary disciple in the Academy that was tasked with overseeing the punishment of unruly disciples. Yang Nina slowly turned her head at its direction.
"Don't panic, all of you are safe." Gabriel said, who was sitting down beside Yang Nina by the grass.
