บท 3: CHAPTER-2 THE MARKEL INSTITUTE
The Markel institute was an integrated educational system which taught the children from primary to post graduate courses. The Institute was a brain child of the founder of the mysterious organization. Students who attended the institute were not interested in normal jobs as they hoped to be the future leaders, independent scientists , free entrepreneurs and famous sport figure.
Common people never heard of this institute because like its organization, the institute was mysterious as well. Those who knew about the Institution were directly or indirectly related to the organization itself .Needless to say those who are related to the organization were upper echelon of the human civilization for example country leaders, famous scientists, notable sports personnel etc.. The Institute had strict rules about using social media which resulted in maintaining low profile across the world.
The academy didn't conducted term exams like normal schools instead students had to complete certain requirements before they enter next class. If a primary class student somehow satisfied all the requirements of the post graduate course then by all means he could attend the class of post graduation right away. Of-course the requirements were harsher but still many students full filled the requirements easily which had become a normal thing gradually.
Today was the entrance test for 8 years old children. Every year only handful of children got selected to the institute. The Leaders across the world would become anxious during that period of year because of their children .
Recommendations ,management quota didn't exist in the institute. Only talented were recognized and respected by the faculty. A child's father might be a prime minister in some country but he was considered less than an ant in front of the powerful mysterious organization.
Institute was located at an unknown mountain far from major cities and could only be arrived by helicopter. When one looked from high above the sky it looked like the planet Saturn .At the center lied the Institute building which was shaped like a gigantic planet surrounded by rings of high walls .Each wall contained a huge wall. In total 6 layers could be seen, two outer gates, 3 inner gates and finally a core gate leading to the main building.
To enter each layer of the institute ,students have to satisfy the requirements of that particular wall for example an outer gate student could enter the inner gate after fulfilling the requirement of the inner gate. Every year students had an opportunity to challenge the next gate. Today happened to be that day ,so all students were in a state of frenzy.
Fin and Eva with their fathers landed on the helipads of the institute. They were escorted by a private helicopter of Lisa .Since it was their first time coming to the institute they were both nervous and excited at the same time.
Fin wore a purple suit and white shirt which fitted him nicely .Though he was just an 8 year old ,her mother forced him to wear it ,despite his resistance. His face was handsome and his round glasses made him look like a little scientist . He adjusted his glasses slightly and looked at Eva beside him
She wore a white salwar kameez with some purple design . She looked like an angel in his eyes .He was mesmerized for a second .Though he could see her everyday ,sometimes she would reach epitome of beauty .Just like this time . She adjust her loose hair which was floating gently by the breeze and turned towards him with a cue smile .He thought 'given 10 years she would grow up to be an amazing beauty'.
Their fathers were satisfied with their future daughter-in-law and son -in- law. Although their little life seemed to have become complex due to the experiment ,they still didn't regret their decision .Their children were getting the best tutoring they could hope for and they themselves got well paying jobs in the organization .
Overall they felt all was worth it. But one thing they chose to unconsciously forget was the purpose of the mysterious organization and their final goal . Nothings comes free in this world . They couldn't figure out the price they had to pay in the future but soon they will know their price which made them regret their decision.
They arrived at the entrance of the outermost gate and stood beside the fellow parents and children who were similarly waiting for the announcement to happen. There were hundreds of children but in front of the gigantic gate they looked like tiny ants.
Many children looked at Fin and Eva and thought 'they must have solid back ground' but didn't find it too surprising since they also had high background like everyone else. Fin and Eva had excellent genes and exceptional tutoring for the past 7 year which made them look smart and beautiful.
One of the reasons for the rich people to come to this institute was to look for their future companions. Finding an excellent ,clean gene was harder for them too. They were 100% sure that the candidates coming to the institute were cream of the human civilization. Many rich children though 8 years old understood the importance of finding the right partner for their future family.
One such candidate was Karl, whose father was a politician and had a connection with a member of the mysterious organization .Only members of the organization were aware of the institute's location which they seldom disclose to others. They were instructed to keep it secret unless they find an excellent family with clean history.
Karl's family was lucky and got noticed by that member of the mysterious organization. Karl got excellent training from the moment he was born and his family spared no expense and provided him best environment they could for the past 7 years. Karl had 2 goals for coming to this institute ,one was to become notable leader and second was to find a right partner.
Karl looked here and there to see if he can find any right candidate as his future companion. He was not in a hurry ,he was casually talking to his parents who were surrounded by many bodyguards. For some reason he suddenly stood still like a wooden stick and failed to respond to his father's question.
His father looked at the direction his was son looking and found a girl who looked like a piece of jade carved exquisitely by the God. His father was also stunned and failed to answer his wife ,who again traced her husband's line of sight and noticed Eva. Being a female herself ,she recovered quickly after a moment.
Looking at her son's expression she could tell ,he liked her. She would be happy if she would get a daughter-in-law like her. She woke up her husband by slamming at his head like a volley ball .Her husband reacted like thunder had stuck his head .Then they both exchanged glances and nodded to each other with a creepy smile. They walked with Karl towards Eva.
Fin and Eva didn't know that they were future partners set by the organization . They didn't have many friends so they played together since they were born and they liked each others company.Other than that there was nothing between them.
Fin was a silent guy who rarely talked except when he asked a question .Eva on the other hand was chatterbox and always asked him truck load of questions for example 'why he liked purple color ?Why not white? Why not black?'
Fin always answered her patiently but with twisted logic for example 'I like purple because it is purple'. 'I already like purple so there is no room for white'. Her illogical questions perfectly complimented his illogical answers.
Their fathers waited for the announcement , meanwhile they were happily listening their children talk .They were somewhat astonished by their compatibility. However one looked they were just match made in heaven .
Suddenly they sensed something and turned towards Karl and his parents who were walking towards them. Karl looked handsome with brown complexion and wore a red coat and the man and women accompanying him seemed to match him in all the aspects like glaring cloths ,clearly they were his parents.
Karl's parents arrived near Fin's group and his father asked with a smile on his face "Which one of you is related to the young girl over here?he didn't even spare a glance at Fin ,only was looking at Eva's mesmerizing face. Eva noticed it long ego ,but she didn't even care and kept on chatting with Fin. Fin also didn't bother to greet the new guest, he was preoccupied with the truck load of questions from Eva.
Karl's parents introduced themselves as Lorry and John. Fin's father Michel and Eva's father Jack introduced themselves. Karl's parents immediately forgot about Michel and started chatting with Jack. Michel felt awkward ,so he went to buy cool drinks for their children. Jack didn't know the purpose of their visit and didn't want to offend any big shots so he chatted with respect.
Karl's parents got to know that Jack's background was pretty normal and felt somewhat disappointed .They didn't talk about marriage , as their children were only just 8 years old .They thought that in the future with his son's capability they could easily find a daughter-in-law with big background. They only got acquainted and lost any interest they previously had .
Karl in the meantime went near Eva and said "hello" ,but to his surprise Eva didn't even spare a glance and continued with her chat. Karl never faced this situation before .Since he was born he was given high attention from the family and got everything he was asked for without any question. He recovered quickly and asked a little louder "Hi, I am Karl ,may I know your name?"
Eva and Fin both turned to his side and observed him a little .Eva said nonchalantly "Hello, I am Eva and he is my friend Fin". Karl glanced at Fin for the first time and next instance he again turned towards Eva and said with a smile "Which branch you are opting for?".
The Markel Institute offered courses in different branches like Research & Development, Leadership, Sports, Music, literature etc. Students once chosen couldn't alter their choice unless they leave the Institute.
Eva said "We are both Research and Development, what about you?".Karl was slightly disappointed and said "I am going for the Leadership branch" . He didn't try to persuade Eva for changing the branch because he knew it was impossible. From the moment they were born they were given specific training related to their future path and the path they have chosen stays with them till they reach their grave.
Suddenly
'Hello everyone the test is going to start now please enter the main hall' a deep sound reverberated in everyone's ears .
