บท 5: Killing Two Sky Profound Realm Profound Beasts.

Before Ikuya could leave the place, a booming sound reached his ears as he sensed beings with battle power on the same, no slightly higher than his own, battling each other.

His Ki senses wasn't much of a use since the beings use profound energy, so Ikuya used his mental senses to sense them.

Before he could go have a look, the noise sounded closer and closer. Then, he saw two giant profound beasts fighting against each other.

One of them was a giant green wolf. When it swung its tail, the tail could reach higher than a tree.

The other was a ferocious red ape. It was tall and big, with strong arms and long and sharp tusks. It was using a tree trunk as its weapon.

When the ape hit the wolf with the trunk, the wolf's giant body immediately sank to the ground. The trunk was smashed into pieces. The ape had to throw it away and beat the wolf's head with its fists instead.

The wolf wasn't weak, either, though. It couldn't raise its head under the fists of the ape, so it bit the ape's thigh and tore a piece of flesh off.

The ape screamed in pain. Its snarl was as loud as thunder, shaking the giant trees. Even Ikuya lost his balance for a second.

Then, the ferocious ape pulled a tree out of the ground with one hand and pounded the wolf with it.

In the end, both of them had to step back. They knocked down numerous giant trees as they were staggering.

' These two profound beasts must be two of the three Sky profound Realm profound beasts rumoured to be in this Mountain ranges.' Ikuya thought.

When he read the mind of the young man who he had just killed, he came to know that three Sky Profound Realm profound beasts are rumoured to be residing in the Ten Thousand Beasts Mountain Range, which is said to be the paradise of profound beasts.

Annoyed by the ceaseless roaring, Ikuya made a 'destructo disk' and threw it at the two giant profound beasts.

Profound beasts or other profound energy cultivators cannot sense Ki, which is a great advantage to Ikuya. Although, high-level cultivators are still able to sense it.

The ferocious red ape instinctively felt something and jumped up, avoiding the 'destructo disk'. But the green wolf was too late to react and had its head separated from it's neck by the destructo disk, instantly killing it.

" Only one huh? Well, I'll get the other one personally." Ikuya muttered as he flew over and landed thirty meters away from the stunned ferocious red ape.

" Growlll!!!"

The red ape snarled in rage towards the sky as its aura increased.

Ikuya closed his eyes and his entire senses enhanced by countless times. His right foot moved backward with his left foot facing forward and a Ki like flame ignited around him for second. He then slowly raised his left hand with his fore finger and middle finger raised upwards while half folded with his remaining three fingers completely folded. His right fist was clenched and ready, right at his waist level, slightly tilted upwards.

Suddenly, Ikuya opened his eyes and a burst of shockwave spread as white Ki was flaring around Ikuya. His aura was completely different from before.

" Grrrr..." The red ape grumbled as it saw Ikuya's sudden change.

Ikuya had brought out the fighting memories of Son Goku stored within his genes and became one with it by imprinting all of Son Goku's fighting experience and instincts onto his self. He can feel his battle power increased by quite a lot by simply adapting to Son Goku's instincts.

*Whoosh!*

The red ape suddenly attacked him without any warning.

He quickly dodge the beast's attack, but was still hit and staggered back for a few feet.

" Tch!" Ikuya got back his balance.

*Pow!*

*Crash!*

Ikuya punched the red ape in the stomach, sending it flying, crashing through eight trees.

Ikuya didn't use much of his strength when he attacked, so the red ape managed to stand up with slight difficultly. Knowing that it was no match for the blue eyed youth in front of it, it decided to run away.

" You think you can run away after picking a fight with me? Never!" Ikuya said as he disappeared from the spot appeared right above the red ape which just turned around to flee.

Ikuya punched the back head of the red ape with tremendous force as the red ape screamed miserably for a moment as its head dented in. Then it lifelessly fell to the ground, dead.

" At least, this confirms it. My Genetic Access' power can be defended against by those who have higher level of energy than my mental energy. Just like on Earth." Ikuya muttered with a thoughtful expression. Although, this couldn't exactly be considered as a weakness for him. His mental energy grows at a rate far faster than what profound energy could ever hope to match up against.

Ikuya's stomach suddenly growled in hunger. He looked at the dead carcass of the red ape and immediately looked away as he wasn't comfortable with eating it because of its humanoid body structure.

He turned to where the headless carcass of the giant green wolf laid and smiled.

" At least I have food." Ikuya said.

After thirty minutes, he finished his meal.

During the time he was a Superhuman, his appetite was already monstrous. But now, with his new Saiyan body, his appetite was tens of times more than his previous self. He had managed to devour the entire giant green wolf into his stomach and only felt half full.

If Humans without a very powerful cultivation consume the meat of a Sky Profound Realm Beast, there is a chance that they might even die. At worst, their body will explode due to the intake of dense profound energy.

But, normal was the last thing Ikuya ever will be. Being a Saiyan, his metabolism is monstrous and eating profound beasts will cause no problem to him.

" Sigh... Forget it. I better hunt a few profound beasts and store them in my pocket dimension since I don't want to die because of the empty stomach." Ikuya then used his mental senses to scan the entire area and found that there were a few hundreds of Nascent Profound Realm to Earth Profound Realm profound beasts all over the place.
