"Huh?, she must have eaten a fruit or vegetables which was the cure for her disease" Henry said.
"I think, I remember something. Wait" Cheska said.
They all paused and allowed her to think.
"I read that, in one of the research conducted on earth. They found that eating different types of fruits and vegetables daily can lead to a healthy and long life." Cheska said.
"Tell me something new Cheska." Henry rolled his eyes.
"The word "different". Madel's fruit box are made of different fruits and vegetables each time." She said.
"I get your point Cheska. In our, planet we eat different types of food as well. It is to nourish our microbiota in the gut. A certain type of food may nourish a certain type of microbiome. We eat different types of food daily since there are thousands of different types of microbes in the gut, but our food is not as varied compared to our fruit boxes." Helen said." Besides only the elite can afford to eat different variety of food back in our place."
"Maybe it's not a problem in the gut, perhaps, the fruit box simply strengthened the immune system." Cheska said.
"Maybe, but based from the books I read in this planet, you give immunosuppressant (Medicine that suppress the immune system) to suppress the signs and symptoms of the disease. Don't you think its quiet opposite." Francis said.
"this world… might have been wrong all along" Cheska, almost chocked on her words.
In planet earth, immune suppressants are used to reduce the inflammation in SLE. It is believed that it was the body's failure to recognize the body cells. It attacks healthy cells as it considers it is foreign. But if Henry's analysis was true. Then perhaps, the pathogens from lower dimension are the ones that triggered the immune system. The immune complex (Antibody and worn out DNA) might have been the DNA from animal cell which resembles that of a human's DNA. Since the DNA is within the nucleus, the pathogens residing in it are small and powerful. Their presence could have triggered the immune system. But as of how those DNA passed through the intestines, it was something that they could not analyze, given the limited resources that they have in the primitive planet of Rosetha.
They stayed in their client's manor to assess her progress. It was the academy's policy so save time, they continued to read and research about autoimmune diseases.
"by the way Henry when we go back to the academy, I would like you help on something." Cheska said.
"Uhm, what is it?" Henry said.
"If it's ok with you, I will ask you to act as Madel's master when I give you a signal."
"No" Henry said.
Cheska paused and assessed his facial expression. He non-chalantly replied but she heard his firm resolution.
"Why is it Cheska?" Helen asked.
"Nothing much. It's just behind our back Madel is being bullied by a young miss of a certain household." She said.
"So what's the plan?" Francis asked.
Cheska gave them a mysterious grin. "to make a certain household fall beyond redemption"
Helen almost dropped her jaw. [is she serious?]
"Why? .. are you serious?" She asked.
Cheska simple gave her a smile and looked at Henry.
"I only need this guy's cooperation and we will all be set" she said while looking at Henry.
"You allowed someone to follow her, while we are away?" He asked.
"Yes, in fact I got this"
She took out a recorder and showed it to the group. Not just one but many students bullied her while they were away for almost a week. Many insulted her and some had even physically hit her.
"I heard that the reason why she refused to join this mission was because she needed to talk to Tristan." Cheska said confidently while looking intently at Henry. She kept the orb which contained the recorded scene from the Gray Academy.
"Yes, she said it." Henry admitted.
"Wow, Madel is dating someone now?" Helen blurted.
Francis smirked at her remark. In his opinion, Madel was obviously interested with Henry. [what a fool]
Henry's expression darkened with her remarks.
"That man is play boy"
[this is interesting] Francis said to himself while observing the group.
"She did meet with him but they never talked to each other. Based from my intel, they simply sat opposite to each other in a pergola in the apothecary department and read books."
Henry immediately remembered his suspicion that the two can communicate thru telepathy. To establish a spiritual line with someone with no spiritual power one must exert a lot of zhenqi and time. Since there was no available site to connect with, a site must be built in her system so that she will be able to transfer and receive information.
"Before they separate ways, Tristan gave Madel a single stalk of white flower."
"That's so sweet. In our world giving a single flower to a lady means devotion and faithfulness. It says that 'you are the only flower in my life'" Helen said with a sweet expression.
"Let me bet, nobody has given you a flower before?" Francis interrupted her.
"Duh, I have a lot of rich suitors back in planet hi…" Helen paused. Where did she said, she live again? The first time she lied? Did she mention it? She was not a good liar.
"Huh, you must have had lots of old suitors with poor eye sight." Francis scoffed.
"What did you say?" Helen pinched his face. He retaliated equally until they chased each other like cat and mouse again.
"Madel, called a bird and send that stalk of flower to someone." Cheska said with a serious expression.
"Stupid girl" Henry blurted as he sipped his tea.
While he wanted to ask Cheska what happened to Madel for the rest of the week, he opted not to.
"When do we do this?" he asked.
"What, which one? Cheska was confused.
"The act."
Cheska gave him smile of a winner. Her ability to overturn a plot and scheme was as good as her ability to retaliate. With such ability, Henry knows that she can run a household with ease. She was indeed a perfect future wife.
"Your acting will be needed next week. But I will be setting the stage tomorrow morning. You continue monitoring our patient tomorrow." She said with a smile.
