บท 298: The Ritual

Although Marlene suddenly felt frightened after seeing Li FuJin's sword, she pretended to be calm until they started to make their pledge.  

Zhiyuan can only sigh while watching the two performing the ritual to make an oath, but he keeps on ignoring Ilumina's murderous gaze.  

After the bond was done, Marlene looked at Li FuJin with a warning gaze while she speaks with seriousness on her voice. "Don't forget.. You are bound to do any of my request.."  

"As long as you won't ask me to sleep with you" Li FuJin claimed with a disdainful voice and without changes on his expressionless face, but he glance at Zhiyuan with a meaningful eye.  

Zhiyuan: "..."  

Despite his words that seemed like a joke, Marlene's face turned dark. "Are you insulting me? I'm not that kind of woman..." She said with annoyance. "You think too highly of yourself!"
