Leng Nuan leaned against the door for a while before walking into the house. When she passed by the window, she glanced outside. Lu Benlai was trembling all over and was still standing under the street lamp.

She did not linger and entered the bathroom.

After taking a hot bath, she looked out of the window again. The place where Lu Benlai had just stood was empty except for a dim yellow light.

He left. Leng Nuan stared at that place and fixed her eyes on it.
