Hellsing: I Reincarnated as Seras Victoria

To the guys in the comments below. 1. Have you ever read a good Hellsing fanfic before? No? Well that's probably because there are literally as of this moment as few as five on this website. 1.2 That being the case is it really so surprising that you haven't found a good last airbender fic with the Avatar worlds bending power system which is probably one of the harder systems to write progression about. However this Avatar section is coming from an Author who did the following. 2. Managed to demonstrate character and power development in Hellsing which has literally no power system framework to work with. 3. Aced the Mannerisms of all of the characters in Hellsing including but not limited to Seras Victoria (British), Alucard, Integra, Pip (French), Major (German) and Alexander Anderson (Character development HOW?). 4. The Author managed to incorporate some of the best moments of the various forms of Hellsing (Mainly abridged) while also adding original content (Interogation arc) Now onto the part where I try to explain various problems people seem to have with this novel. (Possible spoilers unlikely though unless I copy and paste this as a review). When Alucard tells her not to use her special teleport ability except in life threatening situations it doesn't mean she can't teleport it just means she can only use the standard vampire teleport outside of fights. Why do I say outside of fights? Because any fight is by it's nature life threatening Alucard didn't have to release his restrictions to fight Luke Valentine but he did it any way just because he could the same applies to Seras. Alucard saying don't use your power isn't him forbidding her from using it but telling her not to use it unnecessarily she is fully capable of fighting and teleporting short distance without it so in the same way Alucard has his seals (Which he can unlock most of anytime in a fight) Seras has a self imposed handicap where she can easily take her hand out from behind and punch the enemy in the face with her teleport if she ever wants to. And the other "the system will resume function when the plot ends." Think about it for a second this is indeed forced plot progression but it isn't forced because it had no buildup but because there are very few ways to actually keep Seras from straight up just teleporting home and I might be wrong and the author actually has plans to set up a 'divine pantheon', 'system authority' and 'own power 'plotlines like in "I'm a spider so what?" but even if that isn't the case and the author just wants to expand the plotline isn't one occasion of semi forced plot progression worth an entire storyline of quality literature? Besides once this is all over Seras can easily just return to a few seconds after she left with all kinds of goodies and souveniers she picked up in the Avatar world as well as maybe a present or two for her master. The only other demerit that this story has is the update times but hey that's life I know an author who has written two full length novels (100+ chapters) as well as three at least 60,000 words one shots and then in his third novel he just couldn't take the grind and needed to get his life back on track he stopped writing at the 140 ish mark of his third full length novel. This is not to mention the poor guys who end up in the hospital in such a shape they have to ask others to write notes on why they haven't updated so considering I have waited 4 years now on a novel to update when said novel only has 42 chapters do you really think I care that it takes a month for a chapter update if the author takes that month worth time to uphold the quality of this work and keep their life on track while having fun? No I really don't. I just hope that I'll be there for the last chapter because who knows where life will take you next. Damn and I was trying so hard to not get personal too well better luck next time I guess. Thanks for reading and as always have fun... P.S I would give this novel a five star but unfortunately even if I don't mind the stability of updates comparison is a real pain and I can't in good faith put 5 for updates when I know authors who past daily updates and even this one guy who even if his stories aren't exactly the best he somehow manages daily updates on multiple stories (at least 4 each update having at least very being 1000 words) not including bonus chaps because he somehow manages to do those as well. So again sadly while in my heart this is 5 stars by fair criteria through caomparison I can't give more than 4.6 due to the Update criteria.

Maybe minor spoilers. I dont think i did, but i cant guarantee it. Its a great story, I recommend people to read it. Its very interesting. Important note, despite being gender bender its not actually focused on this. So there isnt any typical harem/lewd BS happening like in other fanfics of this sort. Which im really thankfull for by the way. Its a good story thats filled with action, violence but also with emotion and a bit of comedy (as much comedy as you can get in a Hellsing world XD ). How I feel about the novel: Its a standard reincarnated type of story but 100 times better and it feels more natural reading through it than other similar novels/fanfics. No "benevolent god granting wishes for no reason at all" but a better explanation to why and how. The background for the (pre-death) MC is pretty well designed. We get a good explanation why the MC does things and get a feel about his personallity before reincarnating. Although the world and their characters personalities (except the MC) are pretty much taken from the series (which is logical since its a fanfic) the author still did a great job in bringing them to life in this novel. You wont be bored because even though the crucial parts of the story of the originals are still there , a lot of the novel is original content where the author still manages to perfectly express the characters peronalities. So much that, if youve watched the series, you can perfectly imagine how the scenes would look. This is what I feel when reading it. Now im gonna sum up some good points on the score i gave and why. Writing quality (5*): Easy to read, good grammar (im not native english though, but I dont think i even found any grammar mistakes ) and you easily get sucked into the novel making you not want to stop reading. You can see the author gave their all for each chapter. Updates (4*): Usually stable updates except the last 2 chapters (now at ch82). But Im just gonna asume that it will go back to normal soon. Story (5*): Great story following the MC how they "struggle" to deal with life. Although the story follows the originals, that isnt the main focus. Its more focused on the MC and how they try and deal with the situations thrown at her. Character (5*): As I said, a good background on the male character and a very well written way to merge both the reincarnator and seras' personalities forming a new person who is Seras Victoria but at the same time isnt. The other characters are pretty well captured by the author as well. World background (5*): At first its just the normal Hellsing world but soon the world gets more interesting the more goes the story progresses. Not wanting to spoil much but the MC has a certain ability and when reincarnating the MC wasnt specific enough. (cant say more without spoiling) Anyways I dont really write reviews since i suck at wording how I feel about them, but I decided to give it a try anyways since I really like this novel. Thank you author for keeping me entertained during my usually boring periods of free time. (yes Im rereading it at least 2 more times immediatly after getting to the most recent chapter)

Great novel shows Great skill at showing the characters in ourselves and showing the scenes so I can visualize every single interactions with the characters
