Then unexpectedly Mark passed out and Conner manages to catch him.
"Was that supposed to happen?" Conner looks at Leonard for his unanswered question.
"...hmm might be the side effect of the drug, increasing healing rate does take quite a toll on one energy- that's my theory," Leonard told him.
"Well, why don't y'all let him rest on one of our bed until dinner is ready?" Brenda suggested.
"Thank you very much, ma'am, I'll take up on your offer- Big T" Leonard then beckoned Tyrant to come over and pick up Mark and then followed Brenda into the house along with Leonard.
Outside.
"What kind of shit is this?" Larry yelled at Lee
"We ran into some people on the way up here...bandits I guess. I think it was them that attacked us." Lee answered him.
Mentioning about the two bandits that they met on the road to the Dairy and linked this incident up.
"They gave us a lot of problems in the beginning, they killed a bunch of our farmhands. We were able to get 'em to stop by main' a deal." Andy who was on the sideline as Danny mentioned.
"You KNEW about these people?" Kenny asked while glaring at the man.
"Food for protection. Not like we had much of a choice, but they did stop hasslin' us." Danny chimed in and told them of their struggle.
"Goddammit! Carley said this place was locked down tight!" Larry yelled.
"Maybe this place isn't as safe as we thought." Lee pointed out.
"We're sorry! We've never had them screw with us like this! Not since we started givin' em food!" Andy apologized to the group.
"Listen, we may have an agreement with those people, but we will NOT stand for this shit," Andy added in angrily.
"Ain't no way we're gonna let those sons o' bitches get away with this!" Danny also agreed with Andy.
"You know where these assholes are?" Kenny asked the man.
"They're hard to pin down, but I think I know where at least one of their camps are," Danny answered.
"When you're ready to go scope out that bandit camp, come to find us," Danny said when he and Andy both go grabbing their rifles.
"Bandits? Are you serious? This place isn't safe, we can't stay here." Lilly told everyone.
"Not safe?! This place is a hell of a lot safer than that motor inn! I think all of us and our guns can handle a couple of punks with bows and arrows!" Kenny disagreed with her.
"What we need to do is find a way to get our whole group out here to stay. Take this place over if we have to." Kenny suggested menacingly.
"Cool your jets there, Rambo. These are nice people. Let's not do anything to get us thrown out before we eat!" Larry voiced out his opinion.
"I'm gonna head out and help Dan deal with these bandits. You guys should try to make friends with Andy and Brenda while I'm gone." Lee suggested as he volunteers to go out with Danny to hunt the bandits.
"Well that's easy: I've got charms coming outta my ass." Larry words a mouthful of vulgar.
"Yeah, that's...really charming, dad." Lilly looks at her dad and said in a tone full of sarcasm.
"Where's Ben and Carley?" Lee questioned seeing that the two of them is nowhere to be seen now.
"Since Carley and Ben ate some of the food on the way back to get us, she volunteered to go back and guard the motor inn until we get back," Lilly told him.
"Hey, kids! Look what Lee got working for ya." Andy called out.
"A swing!! I love swings! Just like my treehouse! Come on, Duck, Ryan!" Duck rushed for the swing while Clementine was coming from behind.
"Thanks, Lee! You're the best!" she thanked him. "Yeah!" Duck too also thanked Lee.
However Ryan was not interested in riding the swing, she only finds a spot to sit down and watched the two kids playing.
"You're not joining them, Ryan?" Mavis asked her.
Ryan just shook her head.
"No, I'm good, maybe back then I would love something like these, but not nowadays...father told me to act ladylike," Ryan responded to Mavis sad eyes.
"Oh...well cheer up Ryan, we going home sooner or later."Mavis tries to cheer her up.
"Home? Where is that?" Lee asked out of curiosity.
"Somewhere far away's Lee...very far away," Conner told him.
Lee stays silent.
The other looked at Ryan with sympathy.
everyone then dispersed.
Lee followed Clementine and played with her for a bit.
Asking her how's she been holding up to.
Next, he went to find the two St.John brothers to help out with the bandit's situation.
They quickly grabbed their guns and head out from the gate- where they met Conner who was waiting for them with his gun as well.
"I'm joining up with you guys," he told them.
Conner decides that he would follow Lee to keep an eye out for him, in case the St.John brother decide to do some funny business.
