The crossbow bolt flashed and pierced into the assassin's butt. Due to the violent power of the crossbow bolt that was shot at point-blank range, it penetrated right through the entire body and into the brain. It was an instant death!

The other assassin was also trying to dodge the rock shards. He was shocked to hear something pierce through the air and feel the wave of essence force. The ground shook, moving aside the mud on top as a green dagger thrust from within, turning the dead assassin's body into mince. A figure that was drenched in blood burst forth as the green short sword thrust towards the other assassin with a rain of blood!
