บท 12: Indirect kiss!!
Time passed by quickly,
By the time they have gone shopping to pick a good hiking dress and equipment, it was already 3 pm. She felt so stupid, she should have asked for the schedule of today, every week she will receive the schedule of her boss and will prepare everything and she will even have a backup plan just in case.
But since they were going for a week in Tokyo, she thought that the foreign department manager would have organized everything but no, both her boss and herself didn't have any hiking equipment but they had booked one of the most luxurious hotels and restaurant atop the mountain and both of them didn't have the equipment to go atop the mountain. This type of planning.
She felt ashamed, she is one of the best secretaries in the world, this is the first time in her whole life that she failed like this, even though she wanted to take responsibilities for all of this. Her boss apologized to her and told her that we should go buy equipment first because the hiking could get dangerous. She felt even more ashamed because her Boss didn't let her take responsibilities for her error.
Even though she didn't want to find an excuse, her mind keeps telling her that all of this was because of the damned proposal that her boss made if not how could she make a bunch of low-class error like this? She really was bad, even though she told herself she was only the Head Secretary of this man, even though she repeatedly told herself that it was only her boss.
Mei Ling felt hungry, she only had the breakfast in the morning but she was the Head Secretary of Adler Corps, even though they were acting as boyfriend-girlfriend she shouldn't forget her role. So, she still let herself starve.
Jack felt ashamed of his incompetence, he wasn't really good in planning, normally he left it all to his secretary but this time he didn't want to burden his Mei'Er so he decides to take things in his hand. For minor things, he thought that he could charge of it but he was repeatedly proved wrong today.
As they were walking down the street he felt a bit hungry, as he was about to go again inside the car, he saw a restaurant. As he was thinking about the restaurant he saw, he saw Mei Ling enter his car and immediately he decided to directly crush his soul.
He never was a man who let go of his emotions but right now he wanted to take a gun and blast the head of the leader of the Planning team. But he quickly took a deep breath, calmed himself down. His indifferent and cool expression came back on his face.
"Mei'Er"
"Yes" Suddenly being talked to, Mei Ling was startled but then looking at the cool and indifferent expression on her boss's face unknowingly calmed her down quickly. She didn't why but she was to sigh in relief 'Finally her handsome and icy-cold boss is back'
"Let's go eat" and Jack pointed out the restaurant on the side of the road, he had a soft smile while saying this.
'Never mind, where is her real boss?' Mei Ling looking at the gentle smile on her boss's face felt as if she once again recognized the wrong face.
"Yes," But she couldn't help but want to eat so they made their way to the restaurant bought a fast lunch. The taste was good, and it was a local Japanese restaurant so the food was quite tasty with little variety but the taste was good surely due to a unique recipe.
As soon as they finished eating they once again made their way to the mountain, and this time both Jack and Mei Ling were ready. The mountain was a bit rocky, no, not bit it was extremely rocky.
Even though Mei Ling had her gear on, she still felt unbearable, the path was not only filled with rock, but a bunch of roots also took over it. Mei Ling used the walking stick that she bought out in the store, and she immediately felt it was easier, but unfortunately, they were a bit too big for her so she felt that she might fall so she was even more alert than before.
Jack felt that this idea was really bad, Jack had a great body this type of hiking wasn't burdening and he didn't even worry about fall but he didn't even consider Mei Ling and once again he felt that he was a failure as a husband so he was extra careful, he always had an eye on Mei Ling, he was so worried she might hurt herself.
Time flow so quickly, they already hiked for a good hour and they could see a faint light at the top, a little a bit more than two hours were left.
Jack was still the same as before, he didn't have any trouble but he was even worried than Mei Ling, she had a faint layer of sweat on her forehead and her breathing was a bit rough, this made it that her face was accompanied by a faint blush. Jack was both worried and excited to see her. He felt worried about her safety and excited about her appearance.
As he saw that she started to have a lapse in concentration he decided that they need to have a break right now.
Seeing her drink water and faint drop of water being buried in her chest. He gulped down, how can she be so sexy even though she is covered up like that, she is clearly in full winter suit, Jack felt that he was an idiot to not have seen her like this before.
After finishing drinking Mei Ling's breath returned to her, seeing her boss staring at her as if it was the first time he has seen her made her a bit embarrassed. She almost turned crimson red when she saw his eyes focused on her chest.
She made an embarrassed cough:
"Do you want water?"
This question woke up the Jack from his fantasy as he quickly returned to his indifferent expression, he slowly nodded his head took the water and drank in big gulps.
While in his mind Jack was screaming: 'INDIRECT KISS'
