An hour after Autarch Metenoa woke up, Davis and the others finally left.

Autarch Metenoa returned to his family and really did continue to act as though nothing had happened. They knew this because Captain Praezen used his avatar to keep an eye on Autarch Metenoa.

They hadn't left that far, so Captain Praezen was still able to relay what was going on.

If something happened to Captain Praezen's avatar, then they would know that subduing Autarch Metenoa was a failure.

Davis initially denied but Captain Praezen was vehement about seeing this through.

The former didn't care if Autarch Metenoa betrayed them because in that case, Autarch Metenoa really was going to die a gruesome death as he had belief in his Judgment Laws after Autarch Metenoa gave away his autonomy.

His Judgment Laws terrified even himself with its uncontrollable and dangerous nature.
