Dark crimson flames surged in the clouds, gathering in the center as they formed a giant wisp of heavenly flame when it shuddered ever so lightly.

The heavenly flame's descent was almost instantaneous, quickly torching up Davis's body in overwhelming flames that threatened to purify his sins by turning him into ashes. However, the heavenly flame wisp met the same fate as its predecessor, blocked by heavenly lightning, tamed by life energy, and moved behind while it was in the process of transforming into a refined wisp of heavenly flames.

Looking at the comfort he possessed while doing such a trick, Davis couldn't help but grin.
