Davis looked at the three beauty's expressions and understood that they were likely discussing what to do about Fiora's marriage when Fiora decided on her own on what to do before she just confessed out of the blue, her decision becoming a surprise to both Evelynn and Natalya.

Her words reached his heart that made him want to pamper her with his newfound love for her.

He absolutely didn't peg Fiora to be the understanding type, but from her words, she appeared like she knew how to be considerate, making him relax a bit because if she started crying that he was not sincere towards her, he would not know what to do other than thinking that it was his fault.
