บท 1923: Admitting mistakes

"Shut up!" Before the Seventh Elder had finished speaking, he was interrupted by the Patriarch harshly.

"Patriarch?" The Patriarch's tone was much harsher than before, and the Seventh Elder was stunned, wondering why he was suddenly in such a rage.

"It is already our honour for the Young Princess to live in our house, how can we even harbour such an absurd idea upon the Young Princess?" The Great Elder said earnestly.

"But..." The Seventh Elder muttered, after he was reprimanded, he felt very aggrieved in his heart.

The Hua Clan were already faced with a great and formidable enemy. Especially after hearing the news that Hua Yu brought back, they felt that their situation was even more severe. Since the Young Princess was already staying with them before this, that would prove that they did not harbour any ulterior motive. And if they were able to convince her to help, then the crisis the Hua Clan was facing would not be a crisis any more.
