บท 324: Falling Into a Snare

Now that Sima You Yue had asked him, Sima You Ran remembered why he had come looking for her in the first place. He took out a written invitation and said, "To celebrate the successful closure of competitions, and for the future generations of guild members, the Master's Guild is inviting people to a banquet tonight. Because you weren't there, they had requested that I pass the invitation to you."

Sima You Yue took the invitation and took a look, but as she saw the location, she raised an eyebrow. "At the Alchemy Masters Guild?"

"Mmhm, since the Alchemy Masters were the ones who organised the banquet, it will be held at their organisation." Sima You Ran said. "We don't get along with them, so don't have to go."

"That's good, I don't have an interest in such banquets anyway." Sima You Yue said.

"I'll go back first then." Sima You Ran said.

"Alright, thank you, Third Brother." Sima You Yue said as she walked him out.
