บท 3: The Day Of Dawn (P2)

"Wait. "

Tenshi facepalmed himself upon seeing that such a minor matter sent him into the world of physics. He was truly a fool, because the matter earlier could be chalked up to various things such as: a heat stroke, a tunnel vision or even a panic attack — which he never suffered from before so he could chalk it up to a panic attack.

A panic attack huh? That too after seeing a crow? Maybe he got retarded after seeing Haruno's beauty, hehe.

Tenshi rubbed his hair and immediately, a thud rang out in his ears as a shiny object fell in front of him.

Tenshi's hands immediately shuddered as he looked at it: it was golden and to top it off, looked just like the thing the crow was carrying in its beak.

Although he felt like running away, his desires climbed his head as he felt an almost childlike curiosity to touch and see what the object was.

His curiosity won as he looked at the sky and vehemently searched for any black birds or anything of a similar color perching on the trees, and satisfyingly, he found nothing.

He looked at the object and discovered it to be something like a watch; no, it was a watch.

With a nonchalant grunt, he stood up and proclaimed: "Damn, my watch fell...", in order to not alarm any one near him that he was a thief.

And surprisingly, no one paid any attention to him and he picked up the shining watch.

The watch he caught within his hands was cold, it was so cold that it seemed to be freezing.

"Strange..."

Tenshi's hand shivered and the hair on it stood up due to the overwhelming coldness emitted from the object.

Due to his curiosity, he didn't throw the object. He willed his almost freezing hand to pull the object towards his eyes.

As his eyes devised, it clearly was and still is a watch of questionable backstory.

The watch was of a golden color, no no no, it wasn't one of those hideous golden watches made of plastic or something else clearly out of context. The watch in his hand looked as if it was a piece of elegant art.

The watch had a pure golden color on it, the black dial further enhanced the sublime quality-feel it gave to him.

There were no, however, names or any types of brandings on it. Except for a clear white line on the dial spelling out 「Your Excellency」.

Tenshi smirked in disbelief as he felt the cold feeling on his hand weaken as every moment slipped by, and once a certain period of time had passed, the cold feeling turned lukewarm.

Bemused, he rubbed the watch.

It was sublimely smooth and light to the touch, the 「Your Excellency」's line on the dial appeared more eye-catching than before due to an unknown reason.

What the fuck would he do with this? Play house?

Haruno. He could take her on a date after selling this watch for money...

Tenshi suddenly felt bummed out after remembering his poor circumstances; now that his father was jobless and his mother was dead.

Tenshi sometimes had to work in stores and such to maintain his minimalistic lifestyle, and even had to massage his old landlady's legs and head for paying the rent more later than usual.

And as such, he had like, ten dollars at the end of a month to take Haruno out on a date with. And it's not like that she never offered to pay but, she herself was restricted in the amount of money she got every month.

Tenshi was afraid that he'd lose his girlfriend due to his money problems, and of course, his mother bought bonds for him back in his childhood and even that was spent on the rent.

His mother didn't buy much for him anyways, but she still did very great things for him. Like a house in the capital, which regrettably his father sold after his mother died.

Looking at the watch, he figured it to be worth at least a hundred thousand Yen. But that'd be over exaggerated, since the watch wasn't branded. But also, Tenshi could judge that it might be valuable.

"it's free stuff, what do you expect me to do? " Tenshi whispered as he for convenience sake, put the watch on his hands.

He had no guilt to speak of.

Even thought his left arm was gargantuan big, the watch still fitted on his hand. Speak of magic.

Tenshi looked at the watch, 2:00PM, and let out an inaudible whimper, "Shit, I'm late! "

Tenshi himself didn't know how time flew away so fast: school ended at 1:00PM and he was still here loitering around for an hour.

A frown formed on his face as he remembered that he needed to pay rent today, as the month was almost over...

Tenshi entered his simple one-every-room one floored house and sighed in exhaustion; exhaustion because running here from another neighborhood took more than you'd think.

Tenshi put his school bag on a coffee table and leaped towards the beanbag in the living room.

Tenshi unbuttoned his blazer and undid his shirt; both of them fell on the floor as he put on a few casual clothes and sighed once again.

Tenshi recalled his father in his mind and chuckled: where's that useless man off to today? Gambling? Thankfully, gambling is illegal and his father is a meek and timid man to even consider visiting ones maintained by syndicates, otherwise he'd have a lot more than "money problems" on his tail.

"Hey..."

Suddenly, a man dashed out from the inner parts of the house and stood before him with a solemn face.

His eyes were droopy and cold; his hair was uncombed and messy while his clothing was in a haphazard state.

In short, that's his worthless father: Sanada Ayama. Former chartered accountant and investment banker and now a worthless drunkard only loved by his mistresses in the brothel.

Wondering what made both of them stoop to such low levels of society? In short, after Tenshi's mother died Sanada was found conducting massive fraud in his firm and due to the fact that his bosses had connections with his mother before she died, they took pity on him and didn't chuck him into jail.

And then he was blacklisted in his industry. But it wasn't enough for Sanada, so he went ahead and took a massive load on his back called debt.

Taking away a man's value and life-long worth is enough to turn him insane — a life lesson Tenshi learned after he saw his father fall from heights he could never climb again.

"So, drunk again huh?" Tenshi looked at Sanada's disorderly manner of walking and chaotic changes of expression and smirked defiantly.

"Don't talk to me with that tone, boy." Sanada's deep, growling voice was sparked with anger as he undid his shirt's tie.

"Yeah? Why shouldn't I? What're you gonna do to me?"

"What do you want kid?"

"I'm telling you to stop whatever the fuck you're doing right now. Do you even have any idea how much my image sinks in front of Haruno when I go again and again to her parents house to beg money for the massive debt you've piled on top of us both?!"

That's right. If the debt only fell on Sanada's shoulders, Tenshi would never even care about the debt or have to plead to others for money. But if regular payments weren't given to them it would increase thousand folds and would one day fall on his shoulders.

Great. Toichi debts are great, really.

(AU NOTE - Toichi is a type of illegal loan charging 10% interest every 10 days, which refers to the interest rate of 365% per annum. Pretty insane huh?)

"What problem do you have with this...then? They're paying you, right?"

"What the fuck is wrong with you, you fucking titanic load of uselessness? Do you fucking really think they'll pay me every ten days for your shitty debt, there's a limit to how much nice people are to you!"

"It's only because I'm Haruno's boyfriend that her family pays me, how the fuck else do you think they'd pay me for?"

Tenshi stood up and waved his hands towards Sanada, who was doing nothing but looking at him with a gaze that made his mind boil in rage.

Tenshi usually never curses this much; but when it comes to this man and his uselessness his limits come off.

He usually always kept a pack of cyanide by the kitchen, so that if this shitty bitch went a bit too overboard he'd mix it in his water and poison him — just before he left for school of course since that'd be more likely to save him from the police.

And indeed, this man always went overboard with him, and the only reason Tenshi didn't dare to kill this man was the fact that it'd be obvious who killed him if he poisoned him or such.

"Listen, if they pay then you don't have to worry over this okay? Knock up their daughter or something, worked in case of your mother...hic..." Sanada dryly coughed and he fell on floor due to being extra tipsy today.

Wait, what the hell?

A frown formed on Tenshi's face as he head his mother in the drunken ramblings of his father.

" What the hell do you mean by worked in case of my mother? Hey? Talk to me!" Tenshi walked towards the comatose man and knelt down; his hands went towards his face as he nudged it a bit in order to see if he was awake or not.

Sanada's eyes peered towards Tenshi with annoyance.

" What do you want...bastard..."

"What did you mean back then? That it worked in case of my mother?!"

"Oh that? You don't know...? You mother was a whore you know—"

Even before Sanada could complete his sentence, Tenshi's vision went dark as his hands automatically grabbed Sanada's neck with boiling rage.

If it was one thing he couldn't stand, it would be anything bad regarding his mother. Even if it was obviously made up in order to degrade her it still made his mind boil.

Tenshi's mind was skewed, and aggressively marked whatever would come out of Sanada's mouth as false rumors.

Yet his hands didn't crush Sanada's neck as he waited for him to complete his sentence.

"—Slept around, typically things expected from a prestigious daughter from a prestigious family...—"

Sanada chuckled and Tenshi's grip on his neck tightened. Which he was blissfully unaware of.

"—And yeah, she slept with me and got pregnant. I wasn't happy since I caught a worthless broad in my pocket...but well, it wasn't mine either...bubu...and what would you expect, Kanae wasn't mine...—"

Kanae? It sounded like a foreign name to his eats, it was his long dead elder sister. And long story short, she died with Tenshi's mother in the same car crash.

Tenshi's didn't care either way for her. He had long ago forgotten her and her memories, and sincerely, he would've barely remembered her face unless for her photographs.

It felt weird when one of such close relationship with someone would die and quickly be forgotten by everyone.

Everything else related to his mother was filtered out by his brain.

Tenshi's grip on his father's neck loosened as he let go after seeing him pass out, but his anger hadn't loosened like his hands.

Tenshi chuckled slowly as he picked his father up and walked towards the toilet, and once he entered it he made his father sit down on the commode and abruptly opened his zipper.

Don't worry, he wasn't gay.

Tenshi pulled his dick and pissed on Sanada's face.

...

...

...

Tenshi entered his room; his face filled with satisfaction and comfort while his posture was meant and used to be relaxed and comfy.

His eyes were attentive as they scanned around the room, and after seeing that there were no inconsistencies or irregularities he saw down on his computer chair and started his computer.

Tenshi wryly smiled upon seeing the relics of a bygone era, his pc: an Intel i7 2700K and a NVIDA GTX 590...

Well, he had no plans to replace it though. His mother bought it for him as a present and he wouldn't want to sell it even if he went bankrupt.

The windows loading screen came up as Tenshi's rolled his eyes, and since the OS was installed on an SSD, the computer booted up pretty quickly.

And as soon as it loaded up, a ding sound made his ears bleed as a notification came up in the dashboard.

〔Duvalt_M98 has sent you a messaging request — accept? 〕

Tenshi frowned as he noticed that someone sent a request to chat with him on 「Dust」, an end-to-end encrypted messaging system developed for rigorous security.

His frown deepened as he remembered that 「Dust」had an unique system of chatting.

「Dust」was unique in its field. For its users it had sharp security, a bitcoin transaction system and other features. But for most of it, for users to chat and find each other it had a rather exhausting and complex method — every user was given a lengthy, unique code that others could use to send them "friend" requests, and even that wasn't the end of it. Once they sent their target the friend request the target had to accept it, otherwise they wouldn't be able to chat with each other.

Why did Tenshi have this piece of epic technology? Simple, for the bitcoin transfer system and a rather secure system to hide behind.

Now, what he did wasn't really illegal.

Make friends over the internet using online games + tell them that you're from Nigeria and can't buy games since you're poor + they give you money since they pity you and think of you as their friend = profit $$$!

Evil, right? But Tenshi never thought of them as friends, he never did. He saw them only as fat sheeps ready for slaughter.

Looking at the username, he didn't think of much before his mouse went over towards the accept button. Since he never gave anyone his unique code except his "friends", he didn't even think that anyone would try to scam him or something.

As soon as he clicked the "accept" button, the chat directory opened as a message was instantly received by his computer.
