บท 28: Miss Eva's Entrance

Wearing a beautiful and cute pink dress with her hair dressed in a cute hairstyle half loose and half tied in mini pigtails, Ting Mei entered Heng Empire's principal building where the audition was held.
The script that was being used was about a girl that was madly in love with a man who got confessed by the girl, unfortunately, the man already like someone else and treated the girl like a younger sister. Heng Empire was evaluating how would they portray the character. The evaluation would be after the first round of elimination, if you passed the first round you will immediately access the second round and they will pair you up and together you will act this scene.
Arriving there, an unimaginable lined of people were lining up in front of the registration desk. Ting Mei couldn't help but sigh: she'll have to spend her entire day here. Despite the long line, Ting Mei still place herself at the end of the line while looking at the applicants. All of them were grabbing this opportunity to enter the powerful Heng Empire's company because if you are picked then your future would be considered and predicted being glorious and luxurious. Obviously, all kind of people would tempt their chance.
After a long period of time, Ting Mei finally registered and entered a huge clear room where other applicants were already standing. When she stepped into the room, a little secretary came to her and showed her the way, she then handed her a small carton with the number 666 and told her to stand still on an "X" and to hold the carton in front of her.
She was placed in the last line of the room, the room's floor was tapped by straight lines with "X" at each 10 cm distance. On each and every "X" stood an applicant and obviously, with her fortune, Ting Mei got the devil's number, stood at the last line and was in a blind spot.
Ting Mei couldn't care less anymore to reflect on her bad luck and just stood straight in a stylish and natural way. Her legs spread as wide as her shoulder, made her look stable and confident, her arms crossed over her stomach and her upper hand holding the carton 666 in a cool angle, made her beauty surge forward even more.
The room was filled with nothing more than silence because the applicants weren't dumb and knew somebody would watch over them in some way. The room was definitely filled with pretty girls and handsome men but even among a crowd of beautiful humans, Ting Mei would always stand out and would always look gorgeous. As the applicants outside were doing while waiting to register, the people in the room would also always peek glances towards Ting Mei, mesmerized by her beauty and her charisma.
Suddenly, breaking the silence, a loud voice rung in the room as a pretty and small lady rushed in fury in the room.
" What is happening this year? All the applicants are so arrogant and full of themselves! Have Heng Empire's caliber haven't show them that we don't need those useless people? Not only that, they were all ugly and completely unappealing, nobody had charisma or patience, they all started to slouch! Do they really think that the first elimination round is going to be easy? I already went over 500 people with none of them passing! I really can't judge another round anymore! I didn't come all the way from America only to see this sh*t" yelled in wrath the little lady making everyone straighten up their slouched back.
The staff around her were all in a panicked state, especially a skinny man running after her with a huge pile of documents.
" Miss Eva, please don't quit, nobody is more fitted to do this job more than you and I am not doubting your judgement but may I know why didn't you picked Miss Kira over there, just now, not only was she pretty but she had a certain charisma, furthermore her dad is big influencer. She could have definitely passed!" asked the skinny man while leading her to a chair.
" It was already obvious that she was two-faced and was a daddy's girl! We don't need babies like that! I thought you were smarter than this M. Da!" answered Miss Eva in fury.
