After getting out of the car, Heng Huan and An Chung both heard someone shout: " Hey, you! Care for a fight?"
" Probably some street gang fight," mumbled An Chung.
" Hmm " replied Heng Huan before walking to the bar's door.
" Hao Mei, you couldn't win so you had to ask somebody to beat me up? To be expected from you, sore loser." resonated a loud voice.
Hearing this, Heng Huan immediately stopped in his tracks. That voice may sound a bit different but it was familiar.
" Could it be her? No...why would she be here?" frowned Heng Huan.
Despite his doubts, he still approached in slow steps the voice and hid swiftly behind a pole accompanied by An Chung who was greatly confused but still followed.
From his place, Heng Huan could only see the backs of a large group composed of nine well-built men with bats in hand and a small girl. He then heard the little girl shout something but couldn't clearly differ her words when she turned to one of the men.
The voice he heard earlier echoed once again: " I should be the one asking but sure why not?"
After hearing the voice for another time, Heng Huan's eyebrows couldn't help but frown: this voice was extremely familiar.
" Is it really her? Should I step in?" considered Heng Huan while giving An Chung directions to prepare themselves to attack.
An Chung was very confused: since when did his boss became so weird, he would never care for a silly fight but today he actually wanted to step in.
Although he was confused and bewildered, he still followed Heng Huan's orders and placed himself opposite him prepared to fight.
Being Heng Huan's assistant required a lot of potentials and a certain foundation in self-defense and An Chung exceeded the criteria by far. He could become a professional fighter but if he was considered good then his boss would be considered godly in this area. At one point, he got the chance to fight against his boss and he ended being on the ground after only two minutes. He always thought that his president was a person with only the base of self-defense or something around that but who would have thought that underneath his dark suit he would have a perfectly sculpted body, ready to fight at any time.
Before Heng Huan could give the order to attack, a sound of a body dropping reverberated in the isolated alley sending a cold chill down the group members'spine who reflexively backed a few steps.
Following their small retreat, a gap appeared, just big enough for Heng Huan to see the owner of the voice.
Heng Huan was caught off guard: he didn't expect to see a man. He really thought it was her but it seemed like he was wrong. Heng Huan couldn't help but doubt his eyes and his ears, he was almost a hundred percent sure that it was Ting Mei.
He couldn't help but scan the young man one more time. Heng Huan had an extremely good memory and he could recognize anybody despite disguise. The young man was just a bit taller than Ting Mei but had the same physique: skinny and very tall. Unfortunately, Heng Huan couldn't identify for sure if he was Ting Mei.
Furthermore, this man instantly beat down the leader of a group in one hit. This was extremely fearful and couldn't be realized by an ordinary human. He was starting to doubt more and more when he suddenly thought about a specific trait on Ting Mei's shoulder that could prove her real identity.
Dwelling in his analyze for a bit too long, he only came back to his senses when a bald man screamed "Charge!"
This time, Heng Huan didn't react and wanted to see the man's strength by only interfering if he needed to.
