"Do nothing," he said and she could only swallow her anger. He had been watching everyone in the room. The young man trying to be invisible by the corner knows for sure who they are, yet even with the soul realization energy released into the shuttle, he was completely afraid of the two young men before him. He wished, even more, he could disappear from their sight.
He was not a gullible boy just off his mother's milk. He was sure that there were people in this world that defied nature. These two, one was at spirit-awakening, while the other looked to be without spiritual energy. These two gave him a feeling of danger in their carefree attitude. Just then, Nti Anem turned to the boy at the corner trying to seem invisible and he froze.
"You! That young Master Fu we were holding, tell me where he is from and how to get to his place," he said and Sen Ke swallowed visibly.
"Don't worry about what you did back there. I was wondering how to get rid of that pest of a girl anyway. So, relax and tell me. In fact, draw us a map," Nti Anem said.
At this, Sen Ke released a breath.
"The Fu clan is the core root of the Three Mountain sect. The three-mountain sect is an island perched on the Gruem Sea that houses three large mountains. That is where it got its name. Young master Fu is the Heir of his clan. Why he was in the tower, I do not know," sen Ke explained.
"Thank you. Since you have done us this favour, I will do you one. That girl's character, it is sure she will hunt you down and kill you for what happened," he said and Sen Ke paled.
He had reason to. At this moment, the doors of the tower exit opened again but only one person stepped out this time. Behind her, the stench of blood followed. She herself looked to be full of bloodlust. She glanced back at the tower exit s though she was looking at something.
"I will destroy your tower one day. Pray, I die outside," she said and walked away before a sigh sounded behind her as the door closed.
Just as she was about to step on the shuttle steps, a voice sounded behind her.
"Girl, that was quite a promise," she said and Ku Jian turned sharply to find a wrinkly old woman before her. She frowned as stepped back up the shuttle to avoid her. How did this woman get here? She had stepped out and felt the presence of no living being in the area.
"I felt your spell from far away, child. I thought I would miss you, but I came just in time," the old woman said.
"Who are you?" Ku Jian asked.
"They call me the blood witch, child. This old woman has searched the light realm for a child like you," she said and Ku Jian's frown only deepened.
"A shaman?" she asked
"It is but a title, child," she said, then looked at the tower exit doors, "That person, even with all your strength you will not be able to destroy the tower," she said and Ku Jian raised a brow.
"No matter how much you cultivate, you will not be able to touch him, no matter how weak he has gotten. But the tower, on the other hand, is possible. Will you like to come with me?" the old woman asked.
"I must find Brother Ed first. Every other thing must wait," Ku Jian said slightly disoriented. For some reason, she felt that this woman was crawling into her mind.
"Who is this Ed?" she asked.
"I must find Brother Ed," Ku Jian repeated as though in a trance, and then she realised what was happening.
"Stop it!" she released a deadly aura that descended upon the blood witch. The old woman chuckled lightly.
"I was only giving you a light demonstration, child. If I truly wished you would not have been able to discover what I was doing to you," she said.
"Don't you dare invade my mental space again," Ku Jian said coldly.
"Of course. So, would you like to come with me?" she asked.
"This is cultivation?" Ku Jian asked wearily.
"A variation of cultivation many refuse to entertain," she said.
"I still need to find Brother Ed,"
"The light realm is big. If you learn under me, I will help you find him,"
"What can you teach me?" Ku Jian asked.
"More than cultivation," the woman smiled, exposing her broken teeth.
