Surround by a ball of purple light that formed a sphere around his naked body the young man was motionless just observing everything around him.
Above him the shy with innumerable cracks began falling in a fiery blaze, the people around him —completely oblivious to his presence and the falling sky— continued about their daily tasks.
Only one seemed to be aware of his presence, a skeleton sitting on a throne carved out of stone about the size of a five story building, it must have been on that throne for ages because the bones on some areas of its body seemed to have become one with stone.
On the skeletons giant bones were all sorts of fiendish markings that seemed to represent all sorts of evil.
At this moment the sky finally made contact with the earth and it was only now that the people took notice but they didn't run or scream out of fear they stood with blank expressions being burned and smashed to death.
As this cruel form of death was happening the eyes of the skeleton began to glow a fiery red brighter and brighter until they became like two sun.
The earth split open and a giant red hand came through followed by a giant head but no matter how hard it tried it couldn't pull up the rest of its body.
Finally giving up it stretched out it's red hand —which looking at it up close wasn't actually red it was just that it had no skin— towards the young man in the energy sphere but no matter how hard it tried it couldn't break the sphere.
Every time the giant arm attacked the purple sphere and failed the giant suns would become brighter and the arms would attack with greater strength.
The young man was indifferent to it all eventually just closing his heavy eyelids and falling asleep.
....
Slowly opening his eyes Azreal surveyed his surrounds but didn't see anyone, he was ready to run or leave or something but eventually reality crept in he was restricted on a bed.
"Even without the help of pills and natural energy your healing ability is amazing, I would expect nothing less from a 'god'"
The word god coming from him sounded like a something to be ashamed of, a sin you'd hide with all your might refusing to let the world find out about it.
In all honesty Azreal didn't really care but looking around the room —whose windows were so high that he couldn't see through them— he let out a sigh.
'ugh! This is getting annoying'
Being a normal human a couple of months ago and now he was sent to this new world with all these creatures that were beyond belief without any knowledge of anything.
One shit storm after another and nothing had gotten better this frustration was turning stressful.
Watching veins popping up in Azreal's forehead and his ever-changing expression, Rabbit man stared at him curiously.
"Are you okay?"
In all honesty, he surprised himself when he asked how he was doing because he had no love for humans, sure he saved him and he tried to keep him unconscious for a year to protect him but that was just out of pity and the fact that he swore an oath.
Don't be mistaken he isn't a bad guy but very few remember the distant past and nearly all of those who experienced it had died.
Turning his attention to rabbit man's stoic expression, studying each other closely rabbit man smiled, although he quickly hid it, his expression resembled a demon that found its victim.
"oho I see"
"What?"
Rabbit man didn't say anything he just walked over to cabinet —that Azreal was only just noticing— he couldn't see inside because the glass was too thick and wasn't very clear.
The tiny rabbit figure jump on top of a stool opening the cabinet door slightly before taking out a small bottle.
Inside the bottle, a tiny little crystal the size of a marble, surrounded by thick blood colored liquid, only the top half of crystal could be seen.
Playing with bottle in his paws the doctor started speaking softly almost like he was speaking to himself.
"I accidentally came up with this a few years ago…."
Speaking up to this point he looked up at Azreal flashing a sinister smile.
"What is that?!"
With a serious expression devoid of any fear Azreal spoke but he was betrayed by the fear that crept into his voice.
Rabbit man didn't answer only making sure that Azreal was locked properly onto the bed, this only cause him to resist even more trying to break free but to no avail.
Right when rabbit man was ready to start doing whatever he had planned his big ears started twitching, he quickly hid the bottle pulled his chair closer to Azreal.
"Say anything and I'll rip your throat out"
In short order the door to the room opened and Lako and a few of his goons walked in.
The doctor had his furry paw on Azreal throat checking something while using his other hand to write some stuff down.
"How is it?"
Turning to face Lako with a calm face the complete opposite of what he'd show Azreal a moment ago.
"Surprisingly he's doing fine.."
Stressing the word 'surprisingly' the doctor stared at Lako who shifted his gaze.
"Good"
Walking up to Azreal, Lako used his fingers to run along Azreal's legs alway the up to his chest before removing his hand.
"As I said before you are an investment and it is time you showed your usefulness…..In a couple of days you'll be fighting in my arena then in a couple of weeks we'll be going to 'sow city', now I don't expect you to win but you better not disappoint..."
After saying that he patted Azreal's chest and left with his men, the entire time Lako was talking Azreal could only pity him. Was he trying to be mysterious or scary? But even so because of what happened before although he lost consciousness pretty early on, it didn't matter he didn't want a repeat but most importantly there were five claws digging into his neck.
