บท 186: Moving Target

It was like Fate was playing with him. The woman who saved him the other week was the one he supposed to kill. How ironic that he fell on her hands, but did he really have to kill her? It was a pity that he couldn't keep her.

Yelan Han. She was beautiful beyond comparison. He hadn't met anyone as beautiful and smart as her.

He went to the living room and stood at the window. He spent a long time watching the woman tend to her flowers. By the time Yelan was done with her task, she came warily into the room.

"Your wound must be healing rapidly by now. You are free to leave anytime you wish to." Yelan began nervously. She looked everywhere but him.

When she looked up to him, the man was staring at her with a look she couldn't quite read in his eyes. They had eye contact for a long time, and it was strange that she could feel something was off with him. She couldn't look away.

He cut away first and turned his attention away from her, ignoring her words.
