บท 33: 31. Koneko is Cute

After that, nothing significant happened besides us having fun exploring the city.

Djeeta and Lyria were especially captivated by the city's sights and the many vehicles they saw. Djeeta even wanted to ask the Society organization to make her a vehicle like the ones here, but I stopped her. In the Sky Realm, vehicles like these aren't very useful since we live on floating islands, making it pointless for Djeeta to have one.

Unfortunately, since we started our tour in the late afternoon, we only had a few hours to enjoy before returning Kunou to her home.

"Thank you very much for taking care of Kunou," Yasaka said while holding the sleeping Kunou.

Kunou had suddenly fallen asleep when I carried her earlier to give her a better view of the city.

"No, it's fine. We had fun too," Sturm replied with a smile, clearly fond of Kunou.

"Aww, she's so cute sleeping there," Lyria said, admiring Kunou sleeping face while touching her cheek.

"Lyria, don't disturb Kunou. Let her sleep," Djeeta gently stopped Lyria's hand.

Yasaka looked relieved seeing how much we all liked Kunou. She then turned to me and said, "Thank you once again for resolving the issue with the Hero Faction. If you ever visit this city again, don't hesitate to come here. We will welcome you warmly."

"Sure, we'll definitely come again when we have the time," I replied and then taking something out of my pocket and handing it to her.

"Here, if something happens, you can break this stone. Once you break it, something will come out, but don't be afraid. She will help you," I said while giving her a purple stone containing Celeste Shadow.

Celeste has the ability to manipulate life, making it easy for her to kill anyone with her attacks. She can also take the concept of death from anyone, preventing them from being killed by anything.

Yasaka gripped the stone tightly. "Well, I'll accept it if you're offering," she said with a smile and then tucking the stone into her yukata.

After that, we said our goodbyes and entered the portal to return to our dimension.

Before long, we emerged in the replica of Zinkenstill where the others were. Tomorrow is also the day when Koneko starts her training, so I need to prepare to ensure she doesn't get too hurt.

"This is Zinkenstill? Did you create a dimension similar to Zinkenstill, Rei?" Djeeta asked as she looked around at the familiar scenery.

"Yes, I made this place while we are in this world so Sturm and I would have a place to live," I replied while glancing around.

"But wouldn't living here mean we can't experience what it's like to live in another world?" Lyria asked while touching her chin thoughtfully.

'Huh? Do they both want to live in that other world?' I then turned to Sturm and asked, "Would you like to live somewhere else too, Sturm?"

"I don't mind living anywhere, but it would be interesting to have a house like the ones we saw in the city earlier," Sturm said while smiling slightly.

"Well, if that's what everyone want, I'll try to find us a house to live in," I said, thinking about whom I could ask to get us a house.

"Really?? Yeah, I can't wait to experience what it's like to live in another world!" Djeeta exclaimed, jumping up and down with excitement.

After that, we started walking toward our home, but suddenly I heard Rias's voice, "Rei? I'm done here, if you can please bring me back. Thank you~"

So she's done, huh? "You all go ahead, I need to pick someone up," I told the others.

With ease, I teleported to Rias's location. Since I had already marked the ring Rias is wearing, I didn't need to open a portal and could just teleport directly.

The moment I appeared, I realized I was back in the club room, and I saw a lot of people here—more like the entire Rias peerage and even Azazel, who seemed to be their advisor.

"Oh, everyone is here, huh?" I said to them noticing they were just relaxing.

They all quickly turned to me, thinking an intruder had arrived. "Huh, Lucifer?" Azazel said when he saw me.

I waved at him, since by this point we had already met a few times. "Yo, Azazel, we meet again. What happened to the devil I let you all keep?" I asked him.

Of course, I was talking about Katerea because I had ordered her to cooperate with Sirzechs and the others.

But strangely, Azazel just sighed and rubbed his head. "Hahhh... Everything has become such a mess after we learned what they planned."

Well, it looks like they are having a hard time, especially those old devils. I'm sure they need actual solid proof before they can corner those old devils.

"Well, good luck with that. So, where is Rias?" I asked them, as I didn't see Rias anywhere.

But when I did that I saw Issei grumbling and gritting his teeth looking annoyed about something. "Calm down, Issei," Akeno tried to soothe him.

"But Akeno-senpai, Rias-buchou is going to..." Issei started to say something but is stopped by Asia next to him who covered his mouth.

Well, they're really acting weird, but whatever. "So, where is your club president?" I asked Azazel this time, since everyone else is busy calming Issei down.

"Well..." Azazel glanced towards the room where Rias and I had waited for Koneko to wake up before.

"Is that you, Rei? Come here, sorry, I just took a shower, and I also need to get some clothes so I don't have to borrow your friend's clothes later," I heard Rias's voice coming from that room.

Without further ado, I headed to the room, feeling their gazes on me but not paying much attention to them.

"I'm coming in, Rias," I said as I opened the door and entered the room.

After entering, I closed the door behind me and looked towards the bed in the room.

"You're finally here. How many outfits do you think I should bring?" Rias asked me while holding up two casual outfits.

"Huh, nice underwear Rias," I said to her because she wasn't wearing any clothes except for the black underwear she had on.

"Hehe, thank you for that~ So which one do you think I need to bring?" Rias chuckled a little before asking me again.

I walked over to her and looked at the outfits she was showing me. Not gonna lie, but I'm surprised that her clothes look pretty normal and not expensive at all.

Especially since she's from a really rich family, but maybe she spends all that money on anime instead of clothes. "Well, I think this one is good for you, but why not bring both of them since you're going to stay there until the young devil gathering starts anyway," I told Rias.

"Hmm, maybe you're right, but I at least want to keep a few clothes here in case I need them," Rias said. She placed the clothes I didn't choose on the bed and packed the ones I picked into the bag she planned to take.

I watched her from behind, admiring her incredibly sexy body... I don't know what the hell this world's Lucifer was thinking when he made his descendants, but all I can say is he did a good job with Lilith.

Speaking of Lilith, I remember she's still alive and being used as fuel to create many Devils in the underworld, specifically in Hades' realm of the dead. But meh, it doesn't matter to me.

I then walked closer to Rias who is facing away from me while humming as she organized her clothes.

"Then I'm going to bring a few clothes with me-!?" As Rias was about to tell Rei something, she suddenly felt someone hugging her from behind.

Rei's arms wrapped around her body, and she could feel the warm breath on the back of her neck.

Soon after, she felt a kiss on her neck that gave her goosebumps. She put down the clothes she was holding and turned to face Rei.

They gazed into each other's eyes, understanding each other without a word.

And then, their faces slowly moved closer until their lips met.

"Nyaaaaa let me gooo" a girl's voice cries out from a room where several people are gathered.

"You're so cute!!" Lyria hugs Koneko tightly, trying to prevent her from escaping.

"Lyria, me too! Let me have a turn," Djeeta says with sparkling eyes to Lyria.

"Hahhh, I knew this was going to happen..." Sturm says while massaging her forehead as she watches them.

When they entered the house and met Ingvild, Djeeta and Lyria immediately approached her and asked who she was.

But while Djeeta and Lyria were listening to Ingvild's story, they saw Koneko arriving in the living room leading to the current situation.

Lyria immediately grabbed Koneko, hugging her tightly and rubbing her cheek against Koneko's, while Djeeta gently petted Koneko's soft hair.

Koneko had tried several times to escape, but in the end, she was completely helpless against Djeeta and Lyria and both of them easily catch her.

So now she could only scream while resigned to being like this until they were satisfied.

"By the way, have Ophis and Fenrir still not returned?" Sturm asks Ingvild who is enjoying the antics of those three.

"Ohh, the last time I saw them, they were going to get snacks from the kitchen, but after that they disappeared somewhere," Ingvild say trying to recall when she last saw them.

"Hmm, well, both of them will come back during dinner, so it's fine," Sturm says and then sipping the tea prepared by Ingvild.

"Nyaaaaaaaaa" Koneko's scream is heard again.
