บท 45: Chapter 45 – Wild town raid.
(The second location where all players go after leaving the starting location in this kingdom is the town called Wild.)
(Yeb.)
(I haven't given up on destroying that place.)
(AND!)
(The next target after that is the starting location I failed to destroy in the past. Beginner city Min.)
(Both of these locations are currently below my level, but that doesn't mean I can just go in and kill them all.)
(Even an swarm of players that are much lower level than me AND even guards could easily eat me alive.)
(However, there are two things that I gives me huge advantage.)
(My chimeras.)
(I would like also use my plague, but there is not enough time for it to spread while fighting is going on.)
(Still, the preparation I did were somewhat successful. I didn't as many titles as I hoped for, but still, I did managed to get some. I also prepared an large number of chimeras, including a fast moving chimeras.)
(The question is, will the Wild town be able to survive my raid or not?)
(I've been putting all of my stat points in the [Necromancy Mastery] or [Taming Mastery] to increase my odds.)
(Not only that, I wanted numbers, so I gave up on the pieces chimeras totally and focused only on parts one and made them in hurry.)
(They are not perfect, but they are still pretty strong.)
(However, the question is about the town defenses.)
(They have some walls, but they are just some wooden walls, not some brick walls or anything like that. However, destroying them would take a time.)
(I need to attack at least one of the town gates and let my chimeras inside in order not to waste time.)
(However, the Min city instead has some proper defenses unlike this place.)
(My rampage may end up alarming them, so I need to destroy Wild as soon as possible while using everything I can before then making a run for the Min city.)
"Move out."
Me and my chimera army began heading straight towards the Wild city.
Right now, I had a huge advantage.
Nobody knew about me or about the fact that I was coming their way.
It was perfect!
But this time, I need to make sure that the settlement won't just get damaged but instead burned down to the ground, completely destroyed.
So not showing even one bit of mercy.
Me and my chimeras traveled, this time sticking in the group instead of having an advance part go at front and attack.
I need all the chimeras be read for the fight, even the slow moving ones for the invasion.
So, all of my chimeras and I had traveled together.
I did managed to get to the area that was close to the Wild town, but there was a problem.
The Wild town is surrounded by grass field and right next to it was an forest where monster live.
So, I have two options, run for it or go through the monster forest.

The town has multiple entrance points, 3 to be specific in each direction.
2 points are connected to the main road while one of them is connected with the path that points towards the forest.
The town should have some guards posted on the watch at all 3 entrances.
The question, with one should I chose?

(Grass plains.)
(I know that the monster forest may give me a cover, but there are several problems with this plan.)
(The first problem is that the forest isn't really that close to the town and what if some people would escape from the forest and warn them.)
(AND! There is another reason.)
(When I first came to that town and left, I remember how the guards around were only in pairs.)
(The defenses at the two main entrances are lax, probably because of the fact that this place is really peaceful area and there were no real monster related problems. They only go to the forest to gather materials, but just in case they did made somewhat better gate in that direction.)
(So, instead of using the forest as my cover, its way better to just rush at them from the side. They would probably not even notice me since this place isn't heavily guarded and there is not enough people on the watch.)
(That means that the best way to attack the city is not through the forest, but instead through the main entrances.)
"All of you! Fallow me!" – said Phantasia, ordering his chimeras
Phantasia alongside his chimeras began running straight towards the city.
His call not to attack through the forest was the right call. Phantasia is running towards the city, but nobody knows about him yet.
"Hm?"
"What is it?" – asked the guard on duty right next to the gate.
"No…. Wait…. Do you hear that?" – asked the second guard.
"…"
"Yea, I hear -WATCH OUT!" – shouted suddenly the first guard while potting at something behind the second guard.
"?!"
The guard quickly turned around and saw something running straight towards them.
It was Phantasia and his chimeras that were running straight towards them.
"Shit! Quickly! Get inside and close- "
Before the first guard could finish speaking, a crossbow bolt flew and hit him right and pierced his head from behind, making the guard drop dead on the ground moments later.
"?!"
When the other guard looked towards Phantasia, he saw him wielding a crossbow.
The guard quickly panicked and began running inside the city.
"I won't let you!"
"[Poison Blow]!"
Phantasia fired a projectile of poison smoke at the guard and as soon as the guard got inside the city the projectile had hit his location and created a cloud of smoke.
"?!"
"Hey! What is going on?!" – said one of the guards that was inside the city.
'Cough' 'Cough'
"W-we are under attack! C-close the gates now!" – said the soldier that just came out of the cloud of poison.
"!"
"CLOSE IT!" - shouted the senior guard.
The guards who were nearby began running towards the gate in order to close it.
However, as soon as they started closing it, wolf hybrid quickly entered the city through the cloud of smoke and quickly rushed at the people who were closing the gate, stopping them instantly.
The guards were unable to close the gate in time and moment later Phantasia alongside his other chimeras began bursting into the city through the unopen gate.
Phantasia got inside the city.
"TIME TO DIE!" – said Phantasia.
Phantasia began firing [Poison Shot(s)] everywhere at anybody near him, slowly starting chaos in the city.
"!"
Phantasia suddenly stopped firing and grabbed the sword that was swinged at him with his gauntlet.
"?!"
(What the hell?!) – though the senior guard.
"Bye." – said Phantasia while aiming with his second hand at the guard.
"[Acid Blade]."
Two blades of acid flew at point blank range at the guard, hitting him right in the face and making him fall on the ground while holding his face.
The senior guard wriggled in pain, but while he was doing that, Phantasia had dismounted his horse and was right next to the guard.
Phantasia stepped on the man neck before starting to fire a barrage of the spells projectiles at the man.
The merciless attacks ended up killing the senior guard quiet quickly.
The brutal death of the senior guard ended up scarring and dropping their moral.
But they didn't had any time to mourn his death since the pseudo centaur chimeras are now attacking them.
The screams of the people near the one of main gates and sound of battle ended up getting a lot of attention of the people of the Wild town that were nearby, including players.
"?!"
"What the fuck is going on?!" – said the orc player that was witnessing the guard getting killed left and right by the unknown monsters.
"!"
"Hey! Who is that?!" – shouted the dark elf player while pointing with his finger at the masked figure.
"…." – Phantasia who was murdering the ground dropped his lifeless corpse to the ground before then looking towards the players.
"?!"
"Oh shit! Why the fuck you shouted!" – said the angry orc player.
"Well, I'm sorry but I got scared…. Wait."
"This guy is a player?!" – said the confused dark elf player.
"…." – Phantasia stared silently at the players.
"Hey! What the fuck are you doing?!" – asked annoyed human player.
"…"
Phantasia didn't said anything and began slowly walking towards the players.
"!"
"Hey! Back off buddy!" – said the dark elf player while aiming at his bow
"Nah." – replied Phantasia before then snaping his fingers.
Suddenly, two of the pseudo centaurs began running towards the players, forcing the archer player to fire its arrow in panic at the monster, hitting it but not killing it.
The two monsters were still running towards the players and the quick thinking orc quickly stepped up in front of the archer in order to protect him.
But unfortunately, they had taken their eyes of Phantasia for the moment and he instantly fried skill [Acid Needles], firing an needles projectile at the orc player, dealing massive amount of damage and making his guard getting broken in the process.
This in turn allowed the chimera monster to stab the orc with the pitchfork. However, it wasn't over.
The second chimera used the farmer scythe and attacked the human player, forcing him block.
From both sides the chimeras were attacking.
"!"
"Shit!"
The archer player prepared to fire again with his bow.
"?!"
(No wait!)
(I need to shot the-)
The archer turned around and though about attacking Phantasia instead of the chimera, but as soon as he turned around, he saw Phantasia hand right in front of him.
Before the man could even react, he was grabbed by his face and then smashed against the ground.
"[Poison Smoke]."
Phantasia released a cloud of poison smoke in his location, covering and trapping all the players near him.
After the poison spread, the sound of screaming and blades clashing could heard coming inside the cloud.
More players began arriving at the scene and saw the cloud of poison in front of them and before anybody of them could even do something, one of the trapped players ended up falling outside the cloud onto the ground and tried to crawl away, but was suddenly then grabbed back to the cloud of poison as he was screaming for help before then screaming for mercy before then stopping screaming all together in the end.
The new players that just got here were already scared after witnessing what just transparent in front of them, but then somebody walked out of the cloud of the poison while wearing a plague doctor mask and top hat.
"Ah."
"Good day kiddos."
"The doctor is here."
"And if you don't mind, I will kill you all now, kay?" – said Phantasia while having his chimeras in background killing and eating people alive.
The" Doctor" has already began his raid against the Wild town.
The question is: Will they survive or not?
