it's not as bad as you're making it out to be. because it is a group doing the translation, the use of the romanized name and the literal translation of the name is used interchangeably. It really only lacks the proofreader to check for grammar and consistency. I guess this was not done, maybe due to the added cost and qidian's unwillingness.

The story and world are interesting the characters are likable. Overall this would be a great read for all, if not for the complete lake of an editor to clean up the inconsistency in naming. Between romanized and literal, and unexplained nicknames, it's a wonder we know who or what we are following. At least there are no MTL mistranslation with interlockters abound.
