It isn’t that bad, although some side effects might make it feel more realistic; as even with such futuristic technology, reconstructing an entire brain to peak condition would be improbable at best. Maybe some obscure memory loss that ties into the plot later or new sociopathic tendencies that furthers his character? *Wink wink*

Another classic 5/5 from me; just as expected.
A very well done, well though out piece of dialogue, TFTC.
This kind of flashback / backstory was a good call; so don’t hate on it. However it should have been introduced at a point where its relevancy would be a key factor contributing to the plotline rather than you simply adding it because you got carried away. Currently this chapter is ending up as a lengthy deviation that distracts the reader instead of retaining our focus towards the trials like it should with something this important.
Yeah I might… But as a reader I know how annoying unecessary timeskips can be. I just feel like adding them in is the lazy thing to do instead of writing your way to a complete story.
(A/N: It has been 11 chapters and not a single day has passed in the actual story. When I think about the extra year you guys voted onto the timeline I start weeping tears of blood.)
