If the wooden puppets are filled with machinery and metal weapons, are then failed to be used as shield covered, basically penetrated and then the bullet still succeeds to puncture the ninja behind it, whether they’re wearing a flak jacket or not. Do the chakra gliders give off heat? I thought that heat seeking missiles target the heat exhaust fire from the thrust of the backs of jets which is why chaff and flares were invented to throw off the guidance. Should of went with radar guided missiles instead.Humans hanging from gliders are not stealthy.

They are firing kunai from machine gun launchers where as Orochimaru in this fic invented propellant cased bullet which are much more aerodynamic, faster velocity and can penetrate more. I’d the MC has the technological advantage outside of flight.
In terms of pure technology, they were decades ahead of everyone else. Though Orochimaru himself had been dabbling in advanced weapons, he was nowhere near their level, not with the limited resources and time he'd had.
