Oooof this gonna be reaaaally tuff for Orion. Diplomacy and a lot of luck is all I can see for how orion can somehow get out of this situation with Caitlins parents alive and well. No shot he can beat every gangster armed with chemtech with his novice level magical skills and he has like 3 shots in his pistol I think. Me thinks he is gonna get exposed for using magic in the next few chapters. Either way hard asf decisions and choices for Orion to make, can't wait to see whats in store for the next chapter. Thank you for this one :D

Maan the chapters just keep coming XD thank you for chapter!!! I'm now wondering if orion is gonna teach powder magic... I'm on the fence on that particular thought, on one hand he's not even really adept at magic to begin with so teaching it would be hard but it would help him get a different perspective on magic so it might help him too, on the other hand it would be reaaaally bad for both of them if bad peeps found out about it plus jinx (if she ever develops) with magic sounds like a recipe for disaster. Looking forward to reading more :D

Can't wait to see what else Orion has found out about messing with the arcane and magic as a whole, will he continue to ignore his own instincts and push for more power or will he be traumatized by facing literal death because of the experimentation with the unknown? I want to see what the other threads can once he gets to them :D
