Here we go again. I feel like this book was sitting on a desk with each chapter paper clipped together, and all of the chapters were in order. Then someone came in and knocked it to the floor. In their haste to put it back, they left some chapters out of order🤦🏽‍♀️ Selene confessed to Nixus several chapters ago that she knew of the miscarriage and kept it from him by keeping him busy and away from Malia. That’s when I commented that Nixus knew of the miscarriage because he called Malia and she told him.

Why is she leaving? Isn’t this HER home they’re in?

Here we go again. Ethan sounds like an updated 2.0 version of Lucas’s relationship with Malia. Now Nixus has reverted to the person he was when Malia returned, when he was following her around and being all caveman. Just a chapter or so again he was talking about working on getting them back together . What happened with his vow to get Selene out of his life after all of the schemes she was setting? CONSISTENCY should be your word. Work on it.

Okay this rollercoaster of a story is really getting to me. This is great storyline, and the writing is really good. The CONSISTENCY, however, is off the charts terrible. Storylines start, and then they get dropped. One chapter ends with Malia being surprised to open the door and see Nixus, but the next chapter jumps to some other scene not mentioning the end to the previous. Then there’s the storyline of them working together, and seeming to get along, and then you never hear anything else about that again. One chapter has Selene saying she’s pregnant, the next has them walking into a gala arm in arm. The very next chapter has him confirming she’s not pregnant, and then it’s never addressed again. All of that is bad enough, but now Nixus is acting like he never knew Malia was pregnant and lost the baby. MALIA TALKED TO NIXUS ON THE PHONE!! When she told him she was in the hospital (although she was actually at home at the time) and had lost the baby, Nixus told her it was her problem and deal with it. That’s the night she signed the divorce papers and she left. Author please get a grip on your story because I really like it, but it’s driving me to distraction . I can no longer pretend I’m not getting whiplash from all of the back and forth. I hate rollercoasters. In fact I refuse to ride on them.

What makes him think he can stop her from getting a divorce? The audacity

She looked at you like you’re a monster because you ARE a monster. That’s how you want everyone to see you, isn’t it 👀🤔🤦🏽‍♀️

Why not call the police?
