For the most part, I agree with the first half. Though I ultimately disagree, you raised many good points that I can't argue against. In the end, it's just a difference of opinion at this point. The second point however is something that Wulin can't exactly prove. He is the son of the Sea God, that is true, but he doesn't have any of the Sea God's blood. He has the Sea God's Trident, but he can't use it in any way for that same reason. Plus, I don't know how obvious it was, but the Holy Spirit Cult only attacked at the tournament because Wulin used a variation of the Disorderly Storm technique that Tang San 'taught' him. At this point it isn't quite as important since they pretty much know who his father is but with official confirmation who knows how the Holy Spirit Cult would do? At the very least, it isn't something Wulin would want to test any time soon. Besides, Wulin doesn't just care for strength these days. Having a normal life may be out of reach for him but at the very least he can have a life where he isn't constantly placed under the shadow of his father and his friends are put on a lower level than he is. Besides, this is a bit of a stretch but imagine that there is a god running around, one who just arrived suddenly one day despite the Divine Realm being gone, and then you hear about there being a God's child walking the mortal world. It would be difficult to say they're the same person but easy to say they're connected, don't you think?
"I'm ready if you are." With a ghost of a smile on his face, Wulin was enjoying this battle more and more. It had taken some time to fine tune the limits of his |Level 0| to her level since her growth was far more than he had expected. He had been by her side the entire time but without any suitable opponents her limits became a mystery even to him.

That is true however I would like you to imagine a situation in which a nine year old child suddenly has the power to utilize nuclear weapons at his discretion. In this situation, you know nothing of this child's attitude other than what you've heard and meeting him yourself would be like stumbling upon a celebrity in the wild. In other words, you know nothing about this child yet he could very easily end up killing you or your family at his own discretion. Other nations could use their own nuclear weapons and 'neutralize' the problem but that would still result in numerous casualties. In this situation, it doesn't matter that he's strong or that he has a righteous background, all that matters is his age. Wulin is an unknown and a child at that, a child that now has the power to do just about anything he wants. Imagine being a parent and knowing this entity that can grow even further, that could easily be corrupted and would hardly know right from wrong, was looming over your head. It's a terrifying image, don't you think? People would be scared not of his power but what he'd do with it due to his youth and inexperience and when you factor in the talent that made him so talented at such a young age, it becomes all the scarier. To some extent, Grace Mirchea Luslec would be less feared in the situation as he has eyes on bigger targets than random people. Wulin on the other hand is a child and children are prone to throwing tantrums. The people don't want to be on the receiving end of a Hyper Douluo's tantrum and would demand that Wulin be leashed or outright murdered. That kind of situation would make it all too easy for the Federation to act against Wulin, for the Spirit Pagoda to impose restrictions on him, and the Holy Spirit Cult would come soon after sensing his weakness. The major difference between a nine year old level 60 and a nine year old Hyper Douluo isn't that Wulin is any less talented to the common people but instead that a level 60 is still in the realm of being dealt with but a Hyper Douluo isn't. A level 60 is strong, no doubt about it, but there are so many people above that level that the common man wouldn't have to worry so much about Wulin throwing a fit. The masses may not play a massive part in this story and they may not have the illustrious name of one of the Four Great Powers but when billions of people rally together, even Shrek would have to give way.

For the most part, I agree. He doesn't have much to worry about with FUG and Shrek's protection if he reveals his 'full' strength but ultimately, he isn't the only one he has to worry about. Even a god would find it hard to protect an entire group while fending off the entire world. And that's not an exaggeration, if you just up and surpass the entire world by leaps and bound you won't be respected, you'll be feared. The entire world would gather together and riot until he was dead or at least leashed. He might be fine from that, Yuena too most likely, but what about the rest of his class? His parents wouldn't be safe either even if FUG was protecting them let alone everything else he holds dear. Right now, it isn't Wulin that is too weak to protect himself from the world but everyone around him instead. The number of Slayers are limited and Shrek can't dedicate all their resources to them, and a dozen people can't defeat the entire world. It's a losing battle no matter how you look at it.

Partially, yeah you're right. Ultimately though, there is a vast difference between a genius strong enough to rival a level 60 and a nine year old who is at the level of a Hyper Douluo. The former is bad, but the latter is way worse for Wulin. Additionally, its not really a nerf since he can still use |Level 1| whenever he wants considering its still his base level, it won't impact him negatively in any way.

Truthfully, I took this concept from Tower of God much like I did with FUG. I liked the name and I thought the idea of having a force of evil and good stemming from the same source would be a nice dichotomy. I don't know much about it as a result, but I have heard that Undecimber was a concept at some point in time. A quick google search says it's from a book though so I don't really know. The origin mostly comes from my first point.

I was talking about Yun Ming, just to be clear.
"Where did you learn to flatter?" Shaking her head with a wry smile, Gu Yuena had a feeling she knew already. Out of all Wulin's teachers, there was one that was most similar to the current Wulin. A certain former strongest in the world who liked to play the fool with his silver tongue.

Truthfully, I haven't thought out all the details but it would obviously have immense restrictions. The first to come to mind would be a self sacrifice to revive the other party but there are tons of options I could chose from so don't worry, it won't break the balance of anything.
Of course, Pephomemore was not the only reason for FUG's growth. Pephomemore and his business acumen, Imort and his almost infinite knowledge in the field of science, and soon Hakm and his ability to quite literally resurrect the dead.

The points you raised are valid but I'd like to clarify that Wu Zhangkong isn't mad at the worker for escaping a dangerous situation but rather because he was throwing his superior under the bus to do so. Ultimately, such behavior is completely natural but Wu Zhangkong was raised in, as you said, a place with unusually high moral standards so that kind of thing is absurd to him. And its important to keep in mind that this is a cultivation novel, things like loyalty just sort of exist for no conceivable reason.
"Tch. Pathetic." Wu Zhangkong muttered in annoyance as the worker retreated. He wasn't a fan of the Spirit Pagoda but the pathetic sight before him was pathetic even when ignoring that. The worker ran away with his tail behind his back while throwing his superior under the bus. There was nothing respectable at throwing another to the wolves for your mistake.

I wasn't denying your first point, just to clarify. I was trying to give other possible options besides this random guy being attracted to children. Additionally, it isn't too far fetched that you'd be happy that a superior, even if only a potential one, praises you is it? As for your last question, I'm not sure if this is the correct answer since it's been well over a year since I wrote this chapter, but I believe she was a member of the Spirit Pagoda before she even joined Eastsea Academy. If I remember correctly, it's why she was late to join and had to duel Wulin. As I said before though, this could be completely wrong.
"Thank you for the help." Gu Yuena said with a small smile, a blush appearing on the worker's cheeks. She didn't want to speak to him, however, if she wanted to become the Pagoda Master, a good reputation from a young age would be helpful.

It's hard to say he's being underestimated when he's still leaps and bounds above his peers, but I see your point. I'll try to make the reveal as impactful as possible though I doubt it'll be anytime soon. His friends may find out soon enough but the rest of the world will be left in the dark for a very, very long time.
