Yea exactly but it's so under utilised most authors barely scratch the surface of the mythos where as you said there is so much inspiration to take.
Must say I don't believe I knew devas where also called suras it makes sense now where the name asuras came from.

I am pretty sure realm weaver is Indian so thats probably why he included hindu mythology. Could even be hindu but I got no idea. I personally also appreciate the inclusion of the hindu mythos though because I enjoy it not because I am indian. You always see lots of stuff from European myth and Chinese myth with a decent bit of Japanese myth as well but I feel like hindu myth is vastly under used. you only really see asuras as a form of demon other then that it's not common to see other stuff from the myths so I appreciate the use of it in this novel. Ps English is my second language so sorry If I my spelling or grammar is bad
