lucius moment

Nick was essentially emulating a normal human's mind.

nurse alice exists to remove 'useless' humans that will not produce much zephyx the nightmare exists to keep people in the sun the maw exists to prevent humanity from amassing too much power and i have no idea why the null exists, but it's possible it's an anomaly and isn't placed by the sun, which is most likely considering the character themes so far

'Additionally, if we believe that the Nightmare has been placed by the Sun, its power also makes more sense.'

lucius volstad for those who didn't catch the reference (read sword god in a world of magic)

It had even met a Specter once that could "estimate" a majority of what happened to a human in their life just by taking a look at how they moved and talked.

Congratulations, Nick! Even you freeing that Specter that killed thousands was ultimately a good act that benefited Humanity! Yippee for Nick!

Thanks to this Specter, Aegis had saved a lot of costs in keeping Specters suppressed without having to redistribute their Zephyx into the atmosphere.

it's possible that the sun's omnipresence was the ability it developed when it became an eternal, which would explain why this 'one' is able to be locked away in a cage. not much is known about the recovering ones but the sun (specter) definitely existed back they may have knew about ghostys theory and tried to recreate the sun (and probably failed).

"Mid Fallen Possession Specter," the scout reported. "It's a flaming ball of fire that converts Prephyx into radiation. It produced Zephyx when I let its radiation touch my skin."

This theory initially seemed utterly ridiculous and nonsensical to me but I've been thinking about it constantly since seeing this comment and the possibility of it terrifies me because it DOES seem extremely stupid and random but would also probably help steer nicks character development towards empathy

unless by two levels you meant two stages and that he's probably chilling at around late hero in which case please accept this apology for my misinterpretation of your comment 😎

Aria could tell that this man was quite a bit more powerful than her.

he's an agent (also heroes), not a shield or protector aria is a hero, two levels above her is a shield, there's 7 of those in all of humanity 😭

She's been training and working as an extractor since her teens or young adulthood, and after she became a veteran and lost the need to sleep likely around her mid thirties she basically lost the opportunity to get romantically involved with anyone weaker than a veteran, which is most people. alongside the fact that everyone else as strong as her is also dedicated to working- especially in kugelblitz- its fairly safe to assume she had minimal opportunities for anything intimate she's old, yes, but age only correlates to experience, it is not proof of it she's spent her entire life working with unthinkable horrors and dealing with other manufacturers, not boyfriend hunting and mingling with colleagues

"No problem!" she shouted.
