Well, kind of, I really like writing this, I have a proper outline with all the arcs and the ending but the lack of support is killing my motivation. I haven't decided to drop it just yet but updates will take longer.
I don't understand how being surprised about suddenly being transported equates to bring dumb.

I'm sure it's only been 16 days since I last updated. Anyway, the book hasn't been dropped, I'm just busy getting ready for upcoming exams. I'll make sure to put out a couple of chapters next week.
Trust me, I want to but that novel being my first novel, I didn't exactly plan it out so I sort of lost the plot along the way. That's on me, I know and apologize for the inconveniences it might have caused to stop updating all of a sudden.
Anyway, I'm thinking of remaking the novel with a well defined plot although there won't be any major changes to the main storyline so far but I don't know how that will pan out.
What is worse than being the worst team in the world?
For Dave Richards that was a very easy but heartbreaking question to answer, a goalkeeper who performed poorly between the sticks, he was still available as a first-choice goalkeeper because Unique FC didn't have any other goalkeeper.
He was slow on his feet, couldn't jump properly and worst of all, he didn't know how to hold the ball properly.
The only way that Unique FC was able to survive taking in a massive goal-fest sometimes was because of the extra effort they put in their defence.
After a terrible match in which Dave wasn't able to make any saves and also made a lot of mistakes, he was seriously scolded by the managerial staff and almost received a beating from his angry teammates.
He got home sad and also angry at all those who told him he looked like his grandfather and would therefore inherit his goalkeeping skills.
He discovered a hidden door below his room and when he got down there the only thing he could see was a black box.
He found the box to be quite familiar and when he opened it the last thing he saw was a bright white light when the light was gone he could see something in his field of vision.

A female voice read out the messages.
This is a story about how an ordinary man who didn't know his place between the sticks went from nothing to pro and beyond that.
In a new world filled with mana and people with special abilities, Arsha Logan is born with a mana deficiency problem that lowers his capability.
Being one of the few people in the world who could use dual elemental abilities his condition was termed ‘unfortunate’ as he could not use his abilities to their full extent without completely running out of mana.
He had an unusual aura that caused his mana to constantly leak especially during fights but this unusual aura came with its perks for him and that begged the question. Was his condition really that unfortunate or were the people around him overestimating the usefulness of mana especially to him?
Rapid healing/regeneration
Night vision/enhanced eyesight
Enhanced hearing
Abnormal movement speed
Enhanced strength without mana infusion
He had it all and anyone who had seen all of this could tell that he wasn't exactly normal and the question that always crossed their mind was;
“What is he?"
"As a footballer, what do you desire the most?"
For most footballers, the answer to that question was very simple, they all wanted the same thing.
Besides the goalkeepers, they all wanted to score more goals and win more awards because that was the criteria used to judge the best players.
However, Axel was different, just like every other footballer, he wanted to become one of the GOATs of the game if not the goat but he wanted to do it his own way.
Why do all the great players and legends have so many goals compared to the assists and none of the so-called great playmakers has been able to reach five hundred assists while a good number of great goal scorers has crossed that number for goals?
Is it because assists are harder to pull off compared to goals? No, it's because they are neglected.
If most players were to choose between a goal and an assist, they would pick goals all the way but assists are just as important, they all lead to the same result which is contributing toward winning the game.
If they are going to put goals ahead, then I am going to put assists ahead, I will surpass all their assists records and put an unbelievable gap between me and them.
I will become the first player to reach an unimaginable number of assists, I will become the god of playmakers and no one will ever come close.

This is my second attempt in trying to write a good football novel so please give this one a read, thank you.
Seventeen-year-old Devon Oasis became an orphan at the tender age of seven when his parents fell victim to an invasion. The tragedy occurred after their rival kingdom, Feuer, stole the power crystals that energized the defensive pillars of Devon's home kingdom, Audaznimo.
The kingdom of Audaznimo was attacked on the same night the crystals were stolen, although the assault did not originate from Feuer. Audaznimo, having placed unwavering trust in the impregnable defense of the pillars, had let their guard down. Unfortunately, the pillars failed, resulting in a massacre of innocent lives.
The method by which Feuer managed to dismantle the supposedly impenetrable towers remained a mystery to all. Although Audaznimo managed to push back the invaders, it was too late—the damage was already done.
Devon, having lost his parents during the invasion, was fortunate to find solace with his uncle, the leader of a theft gang within the kingdom. Initially hesitant to involve his nephew in their illicit activities, Devon's uncle ultimately decided to impart his knowledge, believing it would benefit his nephew in various ways.
Thus, Devon was introduced to the clandestine world of thievery.
He became a part of the group, a group of young people of similar ages who had to steal to be able to sustain the orphanage.
They were always reminded by his uncle that they were only stealing to make sure they survived at the orphanage since the kingdom didn't care about them and went on to lay out certain morals for them as thieves.
However, Devon found those morals to be pointless because he had grown to love the thrill of stealing, the great sensation that came from being chased after taking someone's possessions.
If there was anything he wanted, he was going to take it no matter what because to him, upholding morals as a thief was pointless and his fate as a thief was already sealed.
Excerpt:
"You know this is a B-ranked mission so Emilia will go with you and please try not to do anything careless?"
His uncle's words rang in his mind as he freely tumbled down the hill of sand and when he finally hit the floor, he lost consciousness.

"What's going on?" He groaned as he sat up on the floor and pulled out the knife that was stuck on the left side of his abdomen, he was bleeding but surprisingly, he couldn't focus on that.

[ Hello, Devon ]
[ Your Master Thief System Is Active ]
"What the heck is going on?"
After mumbling those words, his vision slowly began to fade until he crashed down to the floor and passed out.
What he obtained that day was a system that aligned perfectly with his major goal in life.
"If all I have to do to become better at stealing is to keep stealing then that means I'm never going to stop for anything or anyone."

The story is going to start out a bit slow paced but I assure you that you're in for a ride because it won't take long before everything speeds up and the plot starts to get revealed bit by bit, enjoy!
