Mineta's quirk only hurt him if he used to many of the purple balls. I'm pretty sure that's it though.

It makes sense though, because *BEEP* was the only person in the class to get injured from their own quirk apart from Izuku.

Honestly, it's up to you but, to put it bluntly... There's no plot progression, and it's kinda boring, so maybe a time skip? Idk about this stuff, and your the author, so whatever makes you happy I guess...
