Listen, to Austin, this is his adventure, his journey. If someone calls him Ash, do you really think he’s going to toss and turn at night over it? He's not about to get an existential crisis over a name change, especially if it's just superficial. And you talk about abandoning his identity for Ash—come on, why would he even consider that? What’s in it for him? If he gets called Ash by an announcer, he's not going to break a sweat over it. He knows who he is, and a name tag at a Pokémon battle isn’t going to change that. Plus, this guilt trip on him about Delia? He felt guilty for a moment—just a moment—because he's a decent person. But wallowing in guilt for something he didn't cause? That's not his style. He's just rolling with the punches, making the best out of a situation he didn’t ask for. This is Austin's journey. Only these characters : announcer, Delia, Gary and Oak, these are the only characters that will call him Ash, that's it. Austin will introduce himself to everyone else as Austin, and if one of these characters ask, Austin can easily lie. okay.

Austin will keep all his teams throughout the regions. Unlike Ash who dumped his Pokemon into the ranch, Austin will have multiple sets of teams that he will alternate like for weaker opponents he will use his newer weaker Pokemon, but for stronger opponents he will use the more experienced and stronger Pokemon. This will be explained later on.

Red in the Pokemon manga catches Mewtwo but legendary Pokemon in the manga are weak as hell. in the anime, legendaries are beyond champion level who can whip out mountains, control space and time and destroy the world. In the manga, they can be taken down by a city block level attacks so many trainers have legendary Pokemon that they just feel like oh, rare Pokemon and not like gods.

No, normal animal chicken. As for Pokemon eating, that's a thing but attitudes differ from place to place. Kanto = Society finds eating Pokemon disgusting and it's illegal. Johto: Legally you can't eat it. Hoenn: Legally you can eat a pokemon but socially, you will be an outcast. Sinnoh: You can eat pokemon but your corpse will be turned into fertilizer and be spread out onto lands so that you may be eaten by Pokemon i.e your corpse fertilizer for plants that Pokemon eat. Unova: Some places are tolerant and some can get you the death penalty. Kalos: Yes and no, depending on the Pokemon and how it relates to health like you can eat a Goomi but if you eat a dragalgi, you die. Alola: No, Pokemon and people essentially use the land as food. Galar: Same with Kalos. Paldea: yes.
Pikachu, on the other hand, seemed to have only one thing on its mind as it practically flew towards the food table. There, a tired-looking intern was handing out plated meals—eggs, some berries, toasted bread, and a glass of milk. For the Pokémon, there were bowls filled with what looked like kibble. These ideas have given me something to thing over. as for why Eevee chose to evolve and devolve and use moves, it because when Eevee evolves into Flareon, it naturally gets the move Ember, same with Vaporeon and Jolteon, Vee doesn't know much moves, it relies too much on its ability to survive but with Austin that will change

Huh, why are you apologizing, man? You just asked a question, and I answered. If my language came off strong, then I'm sorry about that, but I was just trying to stay true to how Austin's characterized. Again, if I seemed too harsh or if it seemed like I was mad, I assure you that wasn't my intention. Your question was totally valid, and I answered based on Austin's traits, but maybe I could've softened my words a bit.
