The ending is horrible, I mostly skipped through it because it was that bad. It was so rushed and felt so pointless. I think the biggest flaw is that the novel is way too fast-paced, and the MC can fight too far above his cultivation level. The author should have kept his fighting power at most two realms above his cultivation. The author introduced a lot of people at too high a level and had to force the MC's power higher to keep up. The world-building is pretty good at the start, but at some point, the author decided not to expand on it, which is kinda sad. A bunch of possibly interesting plots were thrown away because the MC got too strong. It felt like those would have been interesting, but oh well. Most of the relationships were not developed well at all. I wouldn't say they felt forced, but they just didn't feel genuine. However, Zhou Xue falling in love with him out of nowhere did feel forced. Overall, if you ignore all the flaws, it's a good novel to kill time with. However, if you have another novel you plan to read, just go to that one.
