My name is Joe Mzalendo. Mine country is Credonia, a third-world country. Born and raised here, I loved my country just like every other patriotic citizen. As I grew up, all I ever wanted was a good degree and a good job with the government. All that I looked forward to so that I could help others and see to it that things went the right way. I had a dream of transforming my country through fighting and nipping Corruption by the roots. I thought getting in was the right move and the only way to make a change. In the end, I was all wrong. I found myself imprisoned by powers I couldn't control and forces I could not break. Without options, I watched people suffer as I did nothing. It was a stab through my heart. I had to live with the knife through my heart and in pain. It was either that and try to help those I could or die. I not only walked with death but saw it most of the time. It was then that I learned; some things are better done from a distance. I learnt never to put out a conflagration from inside a blazing house.

Kamu and Lampa Kingdoms lived to fight all the time. Kamu was a land with no respect for human life and love except, for those with royal blood. Lampa, on the contrary, had a humane King hence was better. After the death of King Guantai of the Kamu Kingdom, the throne was taken over by his cruel son Prince Martin, who was far worse than his father.
He challenged King Kang’ethe to take over the rule of Lampa too for its riches and for it having no heir to the throne. He tried but never succeeded until Jasper; a wizard of the first order arrived in the kingdom and warned him of his rule.
Later, Prince Martin, now the King, fell in love with a Lampa girl, who happened to be the presumed-dead daughter of King Kang’ethe. She was found by the Kamu warriors in the forest during their patrols searching for an herb for her dying mother. She was accused of trespassing, and was meant to be executed being from the enemy Kingdom. King Martin’s heart was drawn to this girl and did not want her executed.
He therefore escaped with her and gave up the throne to his sister, who was also after the power. After King Kang’ethe found out his daughter was still alive and in love with Martin, he passed on his throne to them. His dream had come true and the two Kingdoms found peace. Love became the Silent Weapon that found them peace with no more bloodshed in battle.
The two Kingdoms ended up uniting into Kamulampa Kingdom but two territories under the humane rule of; King Martin and his Queen Catherine; King Joseph and his Queen Dorothy.
A drought struck Malaba and only Kibich could come to its rescue and provide water. Gatamu, the Prince from Kibich headed the project and out of the blue, he fell in love with Peninah, a Ruaki girl. Both communities were against it.
In Malaba, it was said to be against tradition, abolished and a taboo. In the Kibich hamlet, the Prince was arranged and bound to marry Silviah, the daughter of Mr. Mamiti, a very influential business man and the assistant provost. The situations left only one option and possibility to save their love and unite the two communities.
As said, some curses could and can only be cleansed by blood. There was no better blood suited for that than the royal blood; hence, the prince had to die! He prearranged his own death with the help of his best friend Dr. Kirimi, who also happened to be their family doctor.
The prince was killed! Without an heir to the throne, his father, King Matumu took in Peninah as his daughter-in-law, because; inside her was the only heir to the throne. She was pregnant after making love to the Prince.
His assumed-death gave birth to a new beginning and era of peace between Malaba and Kibich after which, he came back from the dead!
Jonas was a young College Student at Kibich College. He was gifted to stop the Armageddon but had no clue. His mother knew it from her grandmother but kept it secret. David, his father was a soldier. He was recently dishonorably discharged from the forces for disobeying a direct order. A decision that saved his life, his colleagues and the hostages. In both College and at home, Jonas life was hell because of his gift.
The Clairvoyant, the mysterious antagonist, was in search of the identity of the gifted. His goal was to rule Earth. Only the chosen stood in his way. He infiltrated high ranks of the government and corrupted several officials who swore allegiance to his cause. He used them to commit unusual crimes among them callous murders just to flash out the gifted. For years, he was searching eliminating each that was born.
Jean and John, KCPD homicide detectives at Kibich central precinct were busy trying to solve the crimes without mountable success. They encountered puzzles and riddles inscribed on bodies that they had no clue of solving whatsoever. In their desperation, John came across an article written by one Rebecca Maya many years past. The attention catcher was the article’s talk about the end times. Since the nature of death mimicked the work of a beast, they classified it a lead worth their time.
That took them straight to David's home, former Rebecca Maya’s residence in search of clues. Jessica, Jonas mother and Rebecca Maya’s granddaughter, whom is well affirmed to the history, repudiated to help in the name of protecting his son. Jonas’ safety was the very reason she kept the secret from him and his father David until; she could not anymore. Before they left the compound, Jonas and his father, whom were away, arrived and changed their perspective and the course of everything. Jonas astonished everyone by knowing Jean, though he never knew of her line of work, whom he had never met in person.
Among the strange dreams he had was her image. He showed his records of the dreams to them for proof of his story. Besides Jean's image, there was the first puzzle the detectives had found on the first victim. The detectives took Jonas with them for more investigations. His father, who was already aware of his son's gift offered to help as well. Aware of his military background; Jean went against protocol and approved him to accompany them.
On arrival at the precinct, that which was meant to be investigations turned to something else. Jonas and his father became consultants to help the detectives make sense of it all as the mysterious murder cases increased. As they made efforts, Jonas was learning about his gift and the enormity of the gift and task ahead. Besides the extinction theory, which by then had become a fact, they uncovered deep darks secrets and colossal government conspiracies.
With his identity exposed and known to the Clairvoyant, he fought them with everything he had at his disposal. From corrupting members of the task force to killing anyone and everyone that stood in his way. This action left a trail of bodies and sorrow on its wake. Besides Jonas and his great grandmother’s journals, the team discovered a higher power that was helping them. With all their skills coming short, they finally resulted to the church for answers. Putting the church, journals and their skills in play, they managed to identify the Clairvoyant and sent him back to hades.
A very good and catching story it is.
