Abdicate, not usurp. Abdicate means to gIve up the throne and give it to the next in line for the throne. Usurp means to take the throne from the ruler.

Ive just got to say it... he’s a KING, not a lord. why is everyone calling him lord? They should refer to hIm as your/his highness or your magesty. Sorry, just driving me crazy.

Their joy was sincere, and Alastair was more than happy to spend the night in their mansion, and it was not the first time he had done so. Though the young King was uncomfortable spending the night elsewhere, at somebody else's mansion, he had to do so for Samantha.

Author, i dont know if you are paying nalyn or not, but nalyn is doing a horrible job of editing. i feel like there have been more mistakes since nalyn started editing than at the beginning of the story.
