I would recommend you get a friend to proof read your chapters because this one especially contained a lot pf grammatical mistakes.
I think it’s a great idea. Try to write it in a way that you don’t have to necessarily read the got ff to understand the story. Put that in the synopsis and you shouldn’t have a problem.
You could say the ottoman conquest of Constantinople sparked colonialism considering it cut of a huge market for the Portuguese causing them to look elsewhere
