The problem was that no one had warned the others about what was happening the following evening because he had been concerned they would all be curious and come over anyway to see his human mate and a bunch of them ended up coming over wanting help from the alpha like usual. Ginger was obviously overwhelmed and he wanted to shake all of them.

Video calling wouldn't exactly work in his current state though. He supposed he could do the old mask and sunglasses routine but that would look weird if he was inside his hotel room. He might need to do this in a public place to make it seem more believable. A park ought to work.
