It might be worth reading if you have nothing else to read, but it’s certainly not worth spending money on.
I don’t think having a more realistic main character is more important than having a character readers care about. My problem is that frequently throughout the story Ves acts so terribly that I find myself actively hoping he loses or dies. This actively detracts from the reading experience. While there are a lot of people who would hurt others to get ahead I think there are a lot of people who would be willing to help others over there own self interest, so I don’t know if having a greedy and selfish character is even that much more realistic. He doesn’t even have to be a saint but he at the very least should have a proportionate response to those he is hurting otherwise Ves comes off as petty and spiteful, and it may be realistic but if it doesn’t improve the reading experience in anyway but in fact actually hurts it why is it there? Ves doesn’t have any sort of line he won’t cross or any sort of moral code at all which makes it really hard to root for him. Generally when you have a anti-hero you have to make the villains worse then the hero of the story so readers can still root for them. With Ves I find myself rooting for the people he is fighting against because they usually actually stand for something more than selfish personal greed. Part of the reason I find the lack of a system so annoying is that it is an easy way to track character growth and how capable and good his mech designs actually are. Without the system we are reliant on the authors often vague descriptions about his mechs and skills that I don’t find satisfying. I also think that the excuse that the system is updating is stupid. He rarely used the system before the update and there was no warning beforehand that the system would ever need updating. It also seems like a excuse for why the system isn’t being used because a lot of other commenters complained it wasn’t being used so the author made it so it can’t be used so people would stop complaining.
Really good!!! Everything I want out of a fun read.
The story is really well written and the world is really creative and interesting but all the characters are horrible people that I hope die horible deaths. How the author ever thought it was a good idea to turn Ves into the most impulsive and obnoxious character I’ve ever read astounds me. Like if he ever actually becomes a star designer I fear for the safety of the human race. There are literally no lines he won’t cross, I’ve read a little past chapter 4,000 at this time and the only reason I’ve stuck around is because the world is so interesting and because I only have to read it for like 15 minutes a day. The story peaks just before the war arc. I can’t even remember the last time he has used the system. The only good thing is that Glorina isn’t as overtly obnoxious as she used to be. I still very much want to punch her in the face but more recently she’s been largely ignored. The plotline where he blackmails the Aduc Family is what really sent me over the edge because at least before the bad things he had done were at worst a retaliation to a minor slight even though he usually blew it out of proportion and got a lot of innocents involved in the crossfire. With the Aduc Family though he went out of his way to hurt a business partner that went out of there way to work with him and we’re nothing but respectful. Not only did he blackmail them into giving up their family secret techniques but he used his unique abilities to create a design spirit that all but brainwashes them. I guess this demonmstrated to me that any hope of Ves being a good person going forward or just not the villain is completely gone. I pity the members of the Laekinson clan and wouldn’t be surprised if in the future if he kills and harvest’s his daughter for spiritual ingredients.
If you think his mom is bad wait till you get to Gloriana she’s way worse.
Ya! and it’s awesome!
In the 1900s, the Zimeran apes already have a means of flying transportation for the royal family. it was in the early development, but they used ornithopters as a fast transportation, this will develop significantly in the coming century.

My problem with it is because even if future Quin says he’s not changing his personality he still is. Our instincts and hunch’s our built on a sum of our experiences and knowledge wich is what makes up who he is. Even if the magic doesn’t touch that aspect and only takes effect at certain moments making him feel a certain way that is still just as bad in my opinion because he doesn’t know that is what is happening his inability to tell we’re he ends and the magic instincts starts might as well make it Kotoamatsukami(Shisui’s Mangekyo Sharigan Ability it allowed him to enter the mind of any individual within his field of view by manipulating them into believing false experiences seamlessly and completely, acting upon them as if they were truly acting on their own free will.)
No there was only one I think that was a typo
I like that he’s able to hold the hammer most authors don’t have the balls to do that, though I think its good because there is sufficient buildup before hand.
Are kryptonians super weak in this universe? I was always under the impression that the only reason Connor lost so much to guys like Bane was because he was half human and way weaker, couldn’t fly and didn’t have super speed or heat vision.
