Hello, everyone. If you're reading this, you may have read my other stories. I'm starting this one as a bit of a "getting back into it" story. (The synopsis will be further down) Both stories I've written will continue in the near future. (I have to re-read them because I've experienced a massive bout of memory loss.) Apologies for those of you waiting, but I had unavoidable circumstances that impeded my writing experiences. The cover isn't mine but it's been lightly photoshopped. If you want it taken down, tell me. (Signed by Author on April 25th, 2023) Anyways, time for the synopsis: Lia was a simple girl in her previous life. Well not really, considering she was the hit woman for the largest mafia organization that operated within the United States. Over the years, her exceedingly high kill count, and overall success rate was something to be afraid of. Her personality was something akin to pure confidence, bordering on arrogance. She dealt with people the same way she did her enemies. By ruining their lives in the most horrific ways. IE: Setting them up for FBI investigations, having their houses repossessed by the government, or even having them framed for a serious crime. Lia was someone that no one wanted to ever cross. If you did cross her, you might as well have signed your own death certificate! That was until she was smacked in the head by a falling piano. While following through on a hit, no less! I mean, come on! A piano?! that's unfathomably crazy. Well, despite getting hit by a literal piano, she still managed to finish the job. But the very next day, she choked on a sandwich and nearly died! Her luck seemed to have literally bottomed out. This "streak of bad luck" had continued in her life for years! Literal years! She had come so close to dying so many times that she was genuinely confused as to how this could happen to someone! From falling down a flight of stairs to nearly breaking her neck during a cartwheel (despite having so much experience that she could do them with her eyes closed.) Lia had experienced so many near-death experiences that she had become entirely immune to the weird circumstances happening around her. Eventually, the bad luck did catch her. She was minding her own business, walking through the streets of Seattle when a coin rolled across the ground and tripped someone else, who dropped an umbrella, which she tripped over. Her fall had her land directly into the flow of moving traffic. She was then hit by a small square-body pickup truck. It had a small sticker of a smug smiling face attached to its front bumper. Lia had died because of what was essentially a coin. A coin had actually managed to kill a human being. Not just any human, but one of the most feared people within the US. Warnings for all readers: -This novel will (at some point) contain lesbian sex scenes. -System tag doesn't mean in the most literal way. (you'll find out more if you read it.) -This may become a Yuri harem novel (haven't decided.) -Will contain very strong LGBTQ+ themes

Author's Note: This is my first book, I've played DnD for quite a long time. I love writing, and have edited some stories in the past. I got the idea for this from many, many places. If you play dnd, you'll probably notice more inspiration from there, but they aren't the only source ; ). I have a few things planned, but if you guys have any ideas, thoughts or opinions, let me know. The romance will probably be a slow-burn kind of thing. It will be a Same-sex relationship: Two girls, however it's not the main focus of the novel, probably more of a backdrop, maybe a plot device. -COVER ARTIST: RUYINNU ARTS- ...... Lauren Solivar is a convicted criminal. Sentenced to death for her heinous crimes, she survived the different methods of capital punishment. Well, not that they know, but she's a vampire and cannot die. They had no choice but to lock her away in a maximum security prison under the name Alar Und, meaning Pit of Despair. Her life was boring for a couple years. She was even starting to get bored with the new guard, Tony. However, that changed when it was announced that she would have a visitor coming. What kind of powerful person could visit a criminal like her?

The Original title of this Novel was called: "Secrets of the Lonely" however, I am currently in the process of re-writing most of the novel's plot to be quite different. The name of the novel however, will remain the same. You can find another book written by me with this same synopsis and an actual cover. It will say it's the rewrite in the synopsis. 'I've seen suffering, and these people haven't even witnessed what it truly is. The true face of suffering comes in the form of the ones you trust the most. It lurks underneath your shadows, in your past. Hiding beneath the surface, just waiting to enrapture you. None of these students see it. They don't understand it as I do. It's not as simple as they seem to think. A killer on the loose scares them, but the look of disdain their parents give them after every failed test doesn't even phase them. Really, they should all be worried about what goes on behind closed doors. Aruna's father is a cheater, lying and gambling his way to fame. Takue's mother drowns her sorrows in liquor, attempting to forget her husband's suicide. Ayato's sister sleeps with a different guy every day in a desperate attempt to hold together her failing life. True suffering, the essence of which can't even be looked at in the eyes, hides from them, and they're too scared to even look it in the eyes.' I slammed my journal closed. I couldn't have spaced out for more than a few minutes. Guilt weighs on my mind, but I shove it down nonetheless. Emotions are worthless, set in place by a God that doesn't even care for you. Ahh...I guess school starts soon. Oh well, it'll be at least somewhat interesting, maybe.

Inna is a woman who had a mission. To kill the gods, that was her mission. She had spent the last millenia trying to accomplish this task. Inna is no typical moral, no. She's directly connected to the void. A void-child, if you will. Not many know what that means, but those who do, well, they're scared. Ever wonder what happens when one does accomplish their goal? Because Inna did. She killed almost all of the gods that had somehow pissed her off. She had expected the multiverse to implode, or maybe for everything to stop. Clearly, it didn't. What happens when an adventure ends, and the evil gods are dead? Well, Inna sure as hell doesn't know. Update: 1/7/2023-Writing schedule is chaotic, because work sucks. I also don't know in which direction this novel will entirely go, so it may come across more like a slice of life, though there may be a bit more action scenes than one normally has in those types of stories. PSA: there are large LGBTQ themes in this book, and will run throughout the whole book. If that angers you, then read something else. *Cover is not mine, say something if you want it removed.*
