yeah the absorbtion skill reminds me of the skill gluttony which does the same thing and also add the things stats but has a bad downside where it can make the owner of the skill eternally hungry. when the skill is used it consumes the monsters soul to satisfy the hunger but if the monster is really strong it can have an effect that i call the ecstasy effect which is like having one of the best meals you've ever had and it can make you go crazy and go after more which can make you target anything even allies. the same can happen when starved. this skill is from a book about a guy who has this skill i really recomend it its called beserk of gluttony its a really good book

i was suprised when he summoned psoglav cause of a contract because i don't remember reading a part where they formed a contract
