Ignoring all the people who are hating, do you think you’ll ever come back to DAFT? Despite what others may have said I really enjoyed the world you were able to make, as well as the subtle hints and lore behind Ash’s previous life and the connections he made. Even if you don’t end up finishing this fic, I’d like you to know that I enjoyed every second of it 👍 and I’d like to thank you for the enjoyment I got from it

I think this is more referring to how she married his father as a way to have an easy life and how that led to both her and her son basically having a nonexistent relationship with his father. Besides being used as a way to deal with the expectations that had been placed on him…tho I ain’t to sure
Fumika knew that Yoshiki just hadn't wanted to deal with relationship problems, and looking at her dating history... she couldn't blame him. She could live without them too.

At this point the excuse paperwork has kinda just been the gag joke of anime and fanfic…and it’s hilarious. Is it stupid and ridiculous at times…yes, but it’s still funny to me 😂
That's why she really appreciated this one day off with her son, celebrating the grand opening of his restaurant. Other Yokai who coveted power must have thought Haru was insane to willingly toss aside his status as the heir of the Yokai faction, but she believed he was the only sane one amongst them all! She's a borderline Goddess, and yet she spends almost sixteen hours every day going over paperwork. Freaking paperwork!
