Honestly there are so many plot inconsistencies and illogical thinking that it’s distracting and hella irritating. Also the character design (read as female cus the author doesn’t really care about how the men look) is so basic that I can’t recall any defining characteristics other than I think the fiancé has red hair and the sister is blond. The story, which is supposed to be a simple power trip, is almost completely ruined by the author seemingly writing it out of his ass. You NEED the ability to turn of your brain and refuse using logical thought. The straw that led to me leaving this review is a battle between wifey and a general. The general at this point seems wholly concerned about the stability of the country rather than any friendship he had to the king, he is even willing to talk it out with her after overthrowing the royal family and she just refuses, starts a fight with someone a tier lower than weve seen her kill. So the fight is not just uninteresting, this “top tier scheming, master manipulator, genius” decides im gonna kill this potentially useful assest and generally likable guy for no god damn reason. And you might think why do you thunk hes willing to talk it out? Maybe because we are given direct insight into what he is thinking and there is no indication/ reason that he is an unreliable narrator for like the 2 paragraphs we read as him
Forgot to mention but we don’t fully know how much divinity she has so she could have less than divinity as a lamp or whatever the first “stage” was
Especially the Corpse God Cult.

First of all we’ve been told she has really strong wrath divinity so it’s not super pure and able to be used by anyone and secondly does the corpse god cult care their aura was described as different from the seven emotions and six desires so maybe conflicting divinities can be absorbed with the corpse god cult method
Especially the Corpse God Cult.

Why would the corpse god cult care about a random spirit child. if they steal the divinity off of corpses wouldn’t it be in their best interest to go after divine cultivators with more divinity
Especially the Corpse God Cult.

Phrasing brother
But Xi Xi was very happy, having seen Master Niu Niu again and even getting her own exclusive big thing to set off fireworks, though it wasn't as impressive as Master Niu Niu's big thing.

Why bother with if they’re three and up. Could the spiritness disappear after your 3
"Children aged three and above may enter the Golden Splendor Pavilion, and I will use my Observation Skill to assess whether they are Spirit Children and if they possess the requisite roots. Those who don't meet the conditions, should not bother entering the pavilion."

Honestly from the time it was decided he was drafted he should be under surveillance
At least at the moment, Lin Yuan was not under any surveillance.

Rent is only five less than 10% of what you have what’s the hold up.
He still has to pay the rent for the courtyard next month!

Why didn’t he search for a stage 3 instead. Would have been risky but could def haggle down to much cheaper and prolly free is it destroyed the plants
In such a short time, he'd spent more than a month's worth of expenses. How could Lu Xuan not feel pained!

I forgot to mention the way wifey refuses to talk it out with general man is she says nothing about her motivations for rebelling which we really only know a snippet of and that snippet makes little sense cus she wants power so she can wage war on another country but like why take over a kingdom to destroy another when you could just as easily take over the kingdom you want to destroy. But she can apparently see the future and there’s this big bad out to cause mayhem I think. It makes no sense
Damn, I Have to Marry the Strongest Antagonist at the Start?
